Radja Nainggolan

This has to be one of my favorite players this season. I didn't know much about him prior to his loan to Roma, but he has been lighting up the midfield and is a real force to be reckoned with. I think he should be in contention for a starting spot with Belgium come this summer. These last couple of years have been somewhat of a golden age for Belgium and there's no doubt in my mind that they will be taking the Europe and the rest of the world by storm very, very soon. Obviously this is not the player I expect to drive Belgium to glory, but he's one of many up and coming stars coming out of the country.

I thought Radja was an Arab name, but he is pretty good. And what is his position.

I'm not sure of the origin of the name, but his father is Indonesian. He's a flexible midfielder. He plays in the center or on the flanks.

Edit: center mid and left mid.

Here's a video with some of his goals for Cagliari.

He's been doing great for Roma this season. A perfect replacement for Bradley who left the club out of nowhere...

^^^
Interestingly enough, Michael Bradley's sale to Toronto FC includes a player development deal between the two clubs, giving Toronto's players the opportunity to train at Roma's facilities. I read that via wikipedia.

Bradley was probably dispensable in their eyes, comparing him to Nianggolan anyway.

Thought I would bump this up once more just to throw this goal in here:

Intentional? You decide.

He deserves his place in our team for the world cup regarding to his season, but if you look at the midfield for the Belgian team, it's hard, Witsel, Fellaini, Defour, Dembele, Januzaj, Chadli, Hazard, De Bruyne, Mertens, Mirallas...

The only Wilmots mistake is Nainggolan, deserved at least to be on the bench...
