Many people from Spain are extremely racist.. also from Europe in general. It is disgusting. We all bleed red.
typical from Spain. Not surprised.
typical from Spain. Nor surprised.
These are the fans from Espana. Many fans are pure born racist in Spain. Thats the sad thing. May god punish them. Marcelo is a very kind and sweet guy he doesnt deserve these awful words :(
wow, thats disgusting, i don't know how people have the courage to make fun of another race, some people are just sore losers.
Yes guys, but its more cultural than anything. Black Atletico players are respected, but there is always a 10 pr cent or less who are racists. Spain are facing crisis and very close to Morocco 16km. They have a big problem with clandestine people, and they were occupied for 800 years by Arabs, so its discusting but they are saying it just to make the player feel bad. I dont think we should generalize about that.
@tiki , It has nothing to do with arabs, There is atm a huge difference between Arabic's and Latino's. And France is the country in Europe with the most Arabs. You have Moroccans , Algerians , Tunis , Egyptian etc etc. Ive seen many in Paris and other cities.
STFU with the generlisation about spainish people...
"Real Madrid's Brazilian full-back Marcelo and his young son were subjected to horrific racist abuse by Atletico Madrid supporters after his side's 3-0 Copa del Rey semi-final first leg victory against their city neighbours."
Atletico Madrid fans reportedly launched a tirade of racial abuse at Real Madrid's Marcelo after watching their side get demolished 3-0 at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
As reported by Sid Lowe of The Guardian, the Los Blancosdefender was subject to sickening chants when he joined his teammates on a 20-minute warm-down after the derby mauling
While chants calling Marcelo "a monkey" are despicable enough,Atletico fans who remained in the stadium are also said to have turned their attention toward the left-back's five-year-old son.
Footage of the chants surfaced on Thursday, courtesy of 101greatgoals.com:
Chants changed to "May your father die" when Marcelo received a hug from his child, as noted by Yahoo! Eurosport:
"They [Atletico Madrid fans] echoed around the empty stadium and I think for all of us who love Spanish football, it's time for us to speak out against this.Marcelo turned hands on hips, looked up at them, way up at the top of the stands here, shook his head in bewilderment and didn't react."
