Quick summary of the weekend number 3

Well, this weekend was dissapointing and interesting at the same time. Some very good game have been played and some have managed to surprise their opponent in some quite interesting manner.

In the BPL, the big results were Liverpool brillant victory over Chelsea and Manchester United defeat at the hand of the ever suprising Watford. Other interesting results include West Ham and Stoke defeat wich let both team in the relegation spot with Sunderland. Everton and Tottenham with their recent win are now second and third in the league while Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are just behind them with 10 point each. The race for the top spot is still very real and its as exciting as it was to watch the English Premier League. :D

Lets continue with Serie A where thing took a turn for the suprising results of the weak in my opinon. I'm talking of course of Inter beating Juventus wich will relaunch the competition a bit. Napoli got a solid win over Bologna just like Lazio has over Pescara. Milan defeated Sampdoria wich is always nice to see and Roma missed a seriously good occasion to become second or co-leader of the league by losing to Fiorentina. Sassuolo now stand in 3 place just behind Juventus with both team having the same number of point.

Next is La Liga where Barca and Atletico both had great win against their opponent scoring 5 goal each. Real suprisingly in my opinion also won their game against Espanyol despite not having either Bale or Ronaldo in their side. It was James who gave his side the lead which will no doubt earn him a bit more love from the part of his coach Zinedine Zidane. Other interesting results are Las Palmas 1-0 victory over Malaga wich place them in third position in the league and Valencia fourth defeat of the season... out of four match, I mean, c'mon, this is getting to the point where you just pity the club.

Pour ce qui est de la ligue 1 (sorry for the gratuitous french) PSG have at last had a win and it was a big one at that, the fact that it was against Caen however doesn't prove their are out of trouble and in my opinion, they still need to work hard to get back to the form they had last year when Zlatan was leading their ligne. Nice drawed their game leaving Monaco alone on top of the table with 13 point, talking about Monaco, they managed a good 3-0 against Renne. Rival Lyon and Marseille have drawed again each other and are now sadly both farther from the top spot as a result.

For the Bundesliga, Bayern won their game 3-1 while BVB had a splendid 6-0 win over poor Darmstadt. Leizpig got their second win and it was a very solid one, if they keep this up, they could be serious rival for any team wanting a spot in the european competition next season. Monchengladbach got another win and this team keep on looking better, Wolfburg and Bayer Leverkusen however didn't manage very good result while Herta Berlin defeated Schalke.

Istanbul are still first in the superlig but Besiktas and Galatasaray who both won their game are just behind them.

In Eredivisie, we had a clash between the top two side in the league and what a suprise it was to see Feyenoord coming out on top with the win, giving them a 5 point advance on their two direct rival, PSV that played against them today and Ajax who won their game against Heracles.

In the primeira liga, Sportin lost while Porto drawed their game meaning that the team that will win tommorow match will be first of the league, most likely it will be Benfica but Braga could surely cause a suprise if understimated. Still, the only situation who would advantage Porto and Sporting would be a draw.

MLS was... I don't wanna talk about it to be sincere. :P

Anyway, I nearly forgot to tell you but please share with us your thought about this football weekend. :D

Real Madrid 483 7140

Real are actually an extremely balanced outfit at this moment in time. Barcelon tend to struggle without Suarez, Messi, or Neymar but Madrid manage to keep shape and keep garnering good results without one or two of their key players nowadays (unless it's someone like Modric). The only difference would probably be that Real fail to get destructive scorelines without Ronaldo. They hardly ever win 5-0 or 6-0 or even 4-0 without Ronaldo in the lineup.

@Dynastian98 Yeah, its something I remarked with Madrid, when some of the key player are not able to play, the other player start taking more place and carry the team foward, for some reason, its happen a lot less to Barca. I think its great and that it show that Madrid will still succeed even when their top star will be gone or start degrading, very encouraging indeed.
