Quick summary of the weekend number 2

What a week it was again this one, I had to say I was pretty dissapointed by the game in the international break, no as many great game as I would have loved to see. Anyway, here we go.

The BPL was great once again, it was the Manchester Derby this weekend and as all of you know, Manchester City came out on top with a solid 2-1 win. Fact of the match were KDB playing so well and Claudio Bravo making many mistake in his first appearance for City. Recently promoted side Burnley and Hull played to a 1-1 draw while Crystal Palace, Bournermouth and Arsenal all managed to get a win by a small margin. On the other hand, we had Liverpool and Tottenham defeat their opponent by huge score, 4-1 and 4-0 respectivily and I would love to say that those game were huge for both Mane and Son who played very well in their respectif game. Also, very suprising from Watford who managed to beat West Ham, despite starting the game in a terrible fashion, taking 2 goal in the first half of the game. They were able to come back to the score before halftime and realise a dramatic comeback with another 2 goal in the second half. Well done Watford! On to the final note for the English Premier League, Chelsea met Swansea on the field and they were unable to my suprise to attain victory, from what I heard, despite fighting very well, Chelsea ended up drawing 2-2 with bad luck being one of the main factor for their demise. Stat speak for themselve in that matter Chelsea were the better side.

Serie A was as usual pretty suprising on some aspect and not at all on most other. First off, Juventus, Napoli and Roma won their game scoring 3 goal each. Inter won their game by a small margin thanks to a great match by Icardi and AC Milan lost theirs against Udinese.

In La Liga, Atletico and Real both won their game easily while Barcelona got a terrible suprise playing against Alaves, the side who managed to take a point from Atletico in the first day of the season. Impressive results for the recently promoted side. Sevilla and Villareal both win their game with 2 goal in their game while Valencia is continuing his losing streak with a 3-2 lost to Betis.

Ligue 1 this week was great as a neutral fan. PSG had another negative results drawing against Saint-Etienne while both Nice and Monaco won their game to get themselve on top of the league with 10 point. Special shout out to Mario Balloteli getting 2 goal in his first game, while not complicated goal, that will most likely help him get his confidence back. Lyon is also starting to struggle with a second loss against Bordeau this time around.

Bundesliga was dissapointing for me as Bayern not only won their game (congrats to all the fan) and both Borrusia team got beaten by recently promoted side. Leverkusen had the most suprising results thanks to a final minute comeback against Hambourg that is the results of Pohjanpalo superb hat-trick for his side as a sub. Herta Berlin also won their game.

Erdivisie wasn't very suprising, Feyenoord, Ajax and PSV all won their game and while Ajax only did so from a small margin of 1 goal, the other two had solid win with fit their position in the league. First for Feyenoord and second for PSV.

Primeira Liga was similar for all 3 biggest team of the league won their game. Benfica had a 2-1 victory while Porto and Sporting both won with 3-0 score. Sporting is still in front, followed closely by Braga who won their game 3-0, Benfica and Porto.

Galatasaray drew their game in the Super Lig while Fenerbahce lost theirs leaving them pretty low in the table. Besiktas took advantage to close the cap between them and the top team, Istanbul BB, both of them won their game and Besiktas is now in egality with Galatasaray in term of point. Istanbul have a 2 point advance for now on both Besiktas and Galatasaray but knowing both team reputation, its hard to think that they won't be able to catch up to them.

Well, my opinion for Süper Lig goes just like this :
Our second team can win Turkish Süper Lig.

About other leagues: Manchester City's win is a very big advantage then people thinks. Maybe even they'll win it all :P

Ligue 1:
-Fatih Terim's ego or Mevlüt Erdinç's goals?
-Happy about Balotelli.
Bundesliga: Surprised for Dortmund. They should give Emre Mor more playing time.
La Liga: Barcelona will take this as a massive lesson.

Edit: Serie A: Special place for Totti. Love this guy!

Did someone watch West Ham's game? I heard that after they were 2:0 up, something happened with fans that they were fighting each other and stewards as well, and after that the team just totally collapsed.

When I see AC Milan loosing game I can feel how salty one guy from the forum is :)

As for the Roma gameenter image description here

Bundesliga was great this week, lots of end to end stuff, last minute goals, equalizers, etc.
Liverpool and Tottenham were fantastic.
Totti the legend strikes again
On the other hand, still no start for Van Persie :(

@Saatvik Agreed about Van Persie, I knew he should have moved somewhere else if only to get more playing time. Think he will be moving soon?

@quikzyyy Totti, the one true King of Serie A, its awlay's great to see him in action for Roma, one man club, one man legend. :D

@Emobot7 If he doesn't get enough playing time in spite of his quality, he will move. I believe there will still be a number of clubs ready to give him a one year contract.

I wrote in length about the derby so I won't really give it much thought here. City was very impressive and won a great game. While I fancied United to win the title, this match obviously turned the tables a bit.

While there are some Hungarian lads in RB Leipzig, I was still disappointed with Dortmund losing. Bundesliga really needs a close year after some years where title fight didn't exist at all. I saw Pohjanpalo's hat-trick and I'm quite impressed with him. Despite having Volland and Chicharito in the squad, the Finnish lad is obviously a potential starter and a dangerous player.

I like a lot of PSG's players but it's good that the title fight is good. I would prefer Lyon or Nice to win the title if PSG fails, and not the money cunts Monaco. Really dislike them, boring team imo. I'm chuffed with Balotelli, he's a top talent and great to see him back on track.

Finally, La Liga. Atletico back to their best in pounding Celta Vigo, and Real also won comfortably. Valencia still shite as usual. I sat down to watch the Barca v Alaves game in hopes of an easy 3-0 or 4-0 victory. Well I couldn't have been more wrong as it turned out. Barca took the risk with playing several players who are new to the team, and not members of the usual starting XI. The MSN was disappointing to be honest, especially Neymar, who had the full 90 minutes to do something. Mascherano seems to get a bit older and his physicality suffers it the most. I love the lad but think Barca has to go with Umtiti next to Piqué in the most important games. Didn't quite understand LE resting the key players. I mean, it's only September ffs. And resting your players before a big game vs City in the UCL is also great. Oh, wait. We're playing Celtic...

@Phenohyte I feel like Luis Enrique understimated Alaves, he propably thought that it would be a easy win and that he would only switch a few player if thing didn't look good. Only that didn't work it seem. I would say that he messed up big time but also that Alaves as a great spirit as a team. I mean, they're results against Atletico should have been enough to make Luis Enrique realised they are a team that can punish if you don't take them seriously. Stupid move by the manager in my opinion on this occassion but it take nothing away from him at the same time. Also, I'll take the "money cunts Monaco" any time over PSG, Paris won the league something like 4 year in a row? Anything else no matter how much money they have. Still, I agree with you that Nice would be much nicer (pun) though and would be great for Ballo career. Also agree Dortmund defeat is annoying, seeing Bayern winning the league year in and year out is starting to take its toll on me. :(

@Emobot7

To be honest I underestimated Alaves as well, I didn't really had in mind that they already got a draw against Atletico. But that's why I'm not the manager lol. Luis Enrique made a dull mistake there.

PSG over Monaco is simply a personal preference. I like PSG but I don't like Monaco and find them boring. That's it really.

@Phenohyte To be sincere, I don't know if Monaco are boring or not, I don't watch them play and despite wanting anyone else than PSG winning the league, I still propably love PSG more than Monaco as I know most of their player and like them as well. We mostly agree on that matter in all reality. I also didn't think Alaves would repeat their feat of drawing against one of the big spanish team, let alone beat one of them, so yeah, we are all pretty suprised in fact. :)
