Quick summary of the weekend #5

Football at the moment is just great, lets see what have happened recently.

In BPL, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City have all only managed a draw. Liverpool 2-1 win against WBA and Chelsea impressive 4-0 demolition of Manchester United (sorry pals, but let say it how it is) have made possible for those 2 to join the three other leader. Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool now have 20 point after 9 game while Chelsea and Tottenham have 19. Interestingly though, we can note that Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea have already played against most of their biggest rival with the exception of City. Another thing to note is that Tottenham after what I consider the first quarter of the season have had zero defeat. Only win or draw.

In la liga, Barça and Real both won their game but by very little margin and in dramatic fashion. Atletico Madrid lost against Sevilla who are now second of the league. Las Palmas were defeated by Villareal despite scoring one of the most epic goal in association football (I'm not joking, go see Kevin Prince goal if you haven't yet, its worth every second). Villareal take advantage of their victory to end the week above Atletico Madrid.

In Serie A, this is another dissapointing week for Inter fan, with their defeat at the hand of Atalanta. Fiorentina, Napoli and Roma won their game unsuprisingly while Milan created a special moment with their 1-0 win over Juventus. Serie A might suprise us yet this year.

In Bundesliga, BVB drawed 3-3 against Ingolstadt who seem to do well against big team for some reason. Herta and Leipzig had another win each and Schalke bad form is coming to an end, their most recent results is a very convincing win against Mainz. Bayern beated Monchengladbach while Wolfburg got defeated by Darmstadt, Mario Gomez must be starting to regret leaving Besiktas for them.

Nice and Monaco managed big win despite both allowing 2 goal in their games. Marseille managed to hurt PSG forcing them into a draw. ASSE win while Lyon lose.

Sporting drawed while Porto and Benfica both won their game. Benfica is still upfront with a 3 point advantage.

Galatasaray fell behind Besiktas who is now head to head with Istanbul BB, both team have 20 point in the super lig. Fenerbahce had a win but their still not very convincing as of now.

Finally, in Eredivisie, PSV won their game 1-0 while Feyenoord managed a draw against rival Ajax permiting the them to keep they're 5 point advantage over the second.

Come on people, share your thought on the game. Can't wait to know how you felt about it. ;D

It will be a little bit late but here are my opinions:
It's excited how teams have 1 point difference in between 1 and 5 in BPL. Surprised about how Mourinho still couldn't analyse the team and the winning strategy. Boos on him.
Sevilla-Atletico was the game of the week in my opinion. Sevilla looks solid and they proved it against Atletico Madrid while the Madrid side lost their first game of the season(regular season)
Milan's win over Juventus was just awesome. Hoping to see more surprises in SerieA.

Mario Gomez must be starting to regret leaving Besiktas for them.

LoL. But in all seriousness I started to feel sorry for him. He sold us maybe but After all he had one of the biggest roles in our championship. At least he is scoring for two games in a row now.

Awesome Nice and Balotelli, keep this up.

About Süper Lig, Başakşehir continues to surprise me. We share the first place with them :) Fenerbahçe's win was surprising. They are awful. Wonder when they'll get back their spirit. Osmanlıspor lost. They were probably tired after the game against Villareal since they played with 10 men for 40 minutes. But they are falling away from the top5 spot. Galatasaray's loss to Trabzon was a good result for us. But Podolski is back and he is on fire. His left foot is the biggest threat for us after Muslera.

Ligue 1 is looking better this year. Maybe not in terms of quality, but in terms of competitiveness

Sevilla costed me money, solo run of Nzonzi once in a lifetime, Atleti suffers from midlefield injuries but Sevilla remains one of the hardest teams to beat at home in Europe when in form.

@Gonzi 100% agreed, might not last but lets enjoy it for now. If only we could say the same about Bundesliga though. :(

@tikitaka Very impressive results for Sevilla in my opinion, but yeah, they are a very good team and despite expecting maybe a bit more from Sampaoli at first, he seem like he is starting to make a difference in the good sense.

@Emrecan Podolski, huh, never saw him at his best but its good to hear he is in form, lets just hope its doesn't become trouble for our beloved Besiktas (as a canadian fan, I really have no choice to support them, that and Emre is a good buddy so yeah, come on Besiktas!) Also impress by Basaksehir, I mean, I don't know much about them, but from what I seen, they shouldn't be on par with Galatasaray and Besiktas. Also, Fenerbahce bad run of form is truely dreadful, for a team that should be fighting for top spot, they are not very convincing right now. I still wish them the best but in my opinion, their defeat against United in the Europa league wasn't only because of United top player being confident. Hope they shake off that bad run and get back in the race for top spot (even though I'm still rooting for Besiktas). Good luck to all turkish team in european competition as well. ;D

@Emobot If Başakşehir were still continuing in Europa League, they couldn't be at the first place right now. They played against Shakhtar at play-offs. The best opponent they could've got. Europa League is just a competition which only damage unexperienced teams' league performances We can see that Osmanlı and Konya both have a bad run in league after the EL games.
An interesting fact is: Fenerbahçe never finished out of top2 for the last 10 something years. Maybe 17 not sure. Will it be the season? We'll see.

Excellent work again.

Im still glad with MU's last night win so I kinda forgot the embarrassing lost again Chelsea. But again, we need to change.

Sevila is doing great, and I want to see them torture Barca and Real :D :D if that's possible.

Juve is doing fine but I feel sad for the Milans :( when will they bring the glory back??? Champions League have missed their sparks
