how many more ugly sides is their to the shape of modern football :(
This is not a surprise.
That's just friggin' disgusting. And I remember that argument on FootyRoom where people were telling Lodatz to "give Qatar a chance". Even I myself thought that Qatar may not be too bad of a choice. But after Lodatz's reasoning, I changed my mind. Now this article has FIXED my opinion that Qatar has no right or privilege to host the World Cup.
"My life now is a disaster," he said. "Who can help me?"Ouaddou has managed to leave, but his battle continues and the experience has left a bitter taste.
"When I saw on TV that they [FIFA] gave Qatar the World Cup I said it was maybe a good thing because football belongs to the world, football has no borders." he said.
"After two years living in that country my thinking has changed. I am a man who respects human rights and in this country, I can tell you, they are walking on human beings.

"You will be proud of us!" they said in Qatar. Yeah. Right.
This is a fascinating article from CNN about the legal/ethical problems in Qatar and how they've essentially tricked people to come and work for them only to trap them in the country and force them to work for free.
I know some of you have the attention span of a fly, but try to read it. It is eye-opening. FIFA is not only a disgrace to football, it is a disgrace to sports in general and to all humanity.
