Puma and arsenal

Arsenal made official today what pretty much every arsenal fan knew already. PUMA becomes the official kit partner starting next season and the commercial partnership is the biggest deal in the history of both arsenal and puma. £150m over 5 seasons. Which is pretty amazing, knowing that with nike we were at £27m for 3 years. And some say it's the biggest kit partnership in Europe.

Here is gibbs wearing the presumed home kit. What do you guys think ? I have to say I'm a bit disapointed, as I really like our kits this season, and this one looks a little plain to my taste.

But I'm still thrilled by the whole thing. Great commercial move from our board

I hate Puma... Only cool thing in the picture are the socks, and obviously the boots :)

@tuanis yeah I don't like puma kits either. They all look the same. But it's not as bad as adidas who put stripes on every team.

That's a great looking kit in my opinion. The deal itself is great, and Puma as a brand has been rubbing off on me lately, what with their new boot ideas and the players representing the brand. It's a great step for Arsenal. I'll definitely be buying a new Arsenal jersey next season (hopefully with some gold patches on the sleeves >:D)

I actually quite like Puma's designs. Their biggest criticism is that they make their shirts tight (ie for super fit people) and most fans are not super fit. I'm just not entirely sure I ever liked hooped socks but not a huge deal for me.

For that amount of money, we could running around in fancy dress costumes for all I care.

^^ All the more reason to lose that gut! (not saying you have one). Though they should release the regular fitted ones too. Weren't the tight Puma jerseys only for the AFCON? I don't recall seeing club teams wearing them.
