there is this new big thing on youtube, you probably didn't miss it as we all spend a decent amount of time on the internet. I think it's a great video, that comes at a good time (world cup incoming). And it's good to see Neymar who has so many fans all around the world support it.

No matter how popular our sport is...I highly doubt our modern game is willing to accept homosexuals. There's still a "high school-esque" and immature attitude towards gay footballers in the locker room and not to mention some users on footyroom who think the same. They still have the stone age opinions that gays are not "fit" or "manly enough". If a player who turns out gay scores goals, defends like crazy or performs saves of the century, I don't care what he does in his bedroom. Why should anyone really? I wish people in our sport looked past such differences because a man's sexuality is none of our business.

In North America especially, they are shoving homosexuality down the throats of everyone. Even those who are against it. If you disagree you are labeled homophobic which isn't right. But hating gays is not right either. I believe we should all just stick to our own opinions and not worry about what someone else is.

Viewing these pro-homosexuality ads bothers a lot of us and most of the time is of no use. It's impossible to change the opinion of someone who disagrees with homosexuality especially if that's the type of culture/religion/environment they grew up around. The only type of people to change opinions about homosexuality are very open people, and these are not the type of people that make it hard for gays to feel comfortable. The only type of people that make it hard for gays and do all the hating are the people who are so strongly against it that they don't care about their feelings, and pro-gay advertisements cannot affect these types of people.
