These tables, while bemusing are ultimately irrelevant as the majority of dives go officially unpunished. Therefore the order would might be very different in reality. After all, as lamps08 pointed out Suarez had dived far more than 2x since 2008.
Totally agree footaholic. Most refs miss out dives which are unseenmost of the time. im imprressed with Arsenal and many teams this season i hate divers sick to watch. Oscar dived vs southampton yesterday and thank god ref dpotted it and punished him. He clearly moved his foot pnto southampton hoalies hand.
I dont know why he fell he did the hatd job rounding the keeper just smash it in the net in stead of crying for penaltirs when your team can be easily infront.
played 14 matches already second. wonder where is Young?
What annoys me is that Januzaj has this many bookings which he doesn't really deserve.
First off, he gets fouled so much more than any other players on the pitch. And the ratio of when he withstands a hard tackle to a supposed "dive" is quite a lot. In other words, compared to the total amount of fouls he receives, he doesn't "dive" a lot.
And as he gets fouled a lot, as a player, you might get worried that you'll eventually get injured. So when a tackle does come in your way, you have no choice but to avoid it. and in many instances where Adnan gets tackled, he gets up with no appeal for a fouls. That was the case with the "dive" against Tottenham.
And as Wolfiecshows above, one of the asshole Fulham defenders don't even try and get the ball and starts stomping on Januzaj and kicking him. Just my opinion.
^^ +1
Wow what an ugly act by that Fulham player. I can't comment on how frequently he dives because I haven't caught a Man U game in a while, but that gif above is plain ugly play by no.27.
those fulham players looked more like hitman than footballers
It's definitely not accurate, and everybody knows Young and Suarez dove about ten times more than that, since 2008. But it's funny to see that they were rarely booked for that in the end...
That Fullham player #27 deserves a good kick in his face.
