1.Man United
2.Tottenham
3.Chelsea
4.Everton
18.Cardiff
19.Hull
20.Cristal Palace
there you go :)
The competition is so much harder now. I'm not even convinced we'd get 3rd but I'll give us the benefit of the doubt for biased reasons.
I am seriously amazed at how many people think Arsenal will be in the top 2. Are you guys really that silly. One WC signing isn't enough to overturn a 20+ point gap from last years champs. Get real.
How i would like it to be.
1.Arsenal
2.Liverpool
3.Tottenham
4.Manchester United
Not that i dislike City or Chelsea but i like arsenal and liverpool more.Plus that i admire AVB's Tottenham and what he is trying to accomplish there.
How i think it will be.

It is too difficult to predict at the moment, but I'll come edit this later once I made up my mind. I just want to state an opinion that I find important to tell for those who have put Liverpool/Arsenal so high.
To win the EPL this time around, the top 6 teams really need depth. And so far, only Tottenham, Chelsea, ManCity and ManUtd have a strong depth. Arsenal and Liverpool on the other hand don't have as much depth compared to the others. To add more to that, they have to compete in a European competition and the FA Cup/Capital One Cup. They could still make top 4, but they don't have a high chance of making it there unless they are eliminated from the other competitions early.
Agree with everything.
Despite that i have an objection with Manchester united depth(especially in midfield)
@DonAndres, United don't have depth in the midfield? Anderson, Carrick, Fellaini and Cleverley are more than enough. Phil Jones and Kagawa could play in the midfield in defensive and central midfield positions respectively if need be. And Fletcher might make a comeback soon.
To be fair though, that isn't the best depth possible. Anderson and Cleverley aren't really Manchester United starters and Kagawa at DM/CM would be like a handicap. And while Jones can play as DM, he may be needed as CB at some points as well. Don has a point when it comes to your midfielders but that wont hurt your chance for the EPL trophy too bad as the team's depth in the other positions is good enough.
@Vendetta, How are Ando and Cleverley not Manchester United starters? I agree that Anderson and Cleverley are not world class by any means. But if we did not have Fellaini, one of them would start alongside Carrick almost every game. I have yet to see a game this season where neither have made an appearance for United, which means that they are still important to this United squad. Obviously playing Kagawa at CM would not be astute, but my point is we have that option if need be. I also forgot to mention that Giggs can play in the CM position against weaker opposition and still do a satisfactory job. If we lose the title this year, it won't be because we didn't have depth, but that we were not good enough.
Obviously if Fellaini/Carrick weren't in United or get injured, they Anderson or Cleverley would take their place. But do you really think a pivot consisting of Carrick/Anderson is as good compared to Toure/Fernandinho or Ramires/Lampard? The fact that you have to resort to Anderson and Cleverley, players that wouldn't be starters for any of the top 4 teams, when you lose Carrick or Fellaini is a bad sign. Then resorting to Giggs as a CM is also a horrible move. My bet is Moyes would do that as a last resort if his midfield suffers an injury crisis.
Just look at the difference of the midfield in each of the top 6 teams (those in bold I consider with the least depth and quality in the midfield/pivot):
ManUtd - Carrick/Fellaini/Anderson/Cleverley/Fletcher(injured)/Jones(not always DM)
ManCity - Toure/Fernandinho/Garcia/Milner(?)/And probably more pivot players I can't recall
Chelsea - Ramires/Lampard/Mikel/MVG/KdB/Essien
Arsenal - Wilshere/Arteta/Flamini/Ramsey(?)
Tottenham - Paulinho/Dembele/Capoue/Sandro/Holtby
Liverpool - Gerrard/Lucas/Henderson/Allen
So you see now the difference. If we take away Liverpool and Arsenal, teams that lack depth, you can see how low the quality/depth is compared to the big 3 of last season. And even compared to Tottenham, you don't match.
I am convinced, by this point, that Darren Fletcher secretly no longer exists, and SAF just mentions him every now and again to make Scotland feel less miserable. They have a highly sophisticated cardboard cut-out they use in training sessions.
@V, I see glaring flaws in your argument. You are comparing United's alternative option in midfield to other team's starters and at the same time assuming that injuries will only be affecting United instead of City or Chelsea. That is just a very weak point. What if Toure or Ramires get injured? Their alternatives would not be better than the combination of United's best midfield in Carrick and Fellaini. Don't forget Carrick was chosen as PFA player of the year and Manchester United Players Player of the Year last season. Without him, there would have been no title #20 for United. I just don't see your point. Maybe you are mistaking depth with quality.
The combination of Khedira, Modric, Alonso, Illarra, Isco, and Casemiro beats y'all... ;)
1) United
2) Chelsea
3) Arsenal
4) City
5) Tottenham
18) Crystal Palaca
19) West Ham
20) Hull City
"Don't forget Carrick was chosen as PFA player of the year"
Eh? Wasn't that Bale.
^ I think he meant nominee. Carrick was chosen as one of the nominees, right?
Carrick is almost the best, or maybe is the best, CDM in the Premier League.
Yaya Toure is quite capable there too. But I can't think of anyone else who can compete. ^
^ Sandro pisses on both of them.
Sandro pisses on both of them.
Well last year I made pretty accurate predictions, correctly predicting standings for the Top 5 and getting 2/3 correct in bottom 3. Also correctly predicting top scorer :D So let's do this again for this season. Predict your top 5 and bottom 3 clubs as well as top scorer.
TOP 5:
BOTTOM 3:
Top Scorer of 2013/14 season will be once again Robin van Persie.
You predictions ?
