Welcome to the latest edition of our Premier League player power rankings.
A horrendous spectacle at Old Trafford calls into question several of our top 10, while we have two new additions to the lineup. Disagree with our selections? Hit us up with yours in the comments below.
All statistics are from WhoScored.

      • Drop Outs / Honourable Mentions + + +

Dropping out :

Mesut Ozil has underwhelmed over the course of the last several weeks, and his bright start cant keep him in our top 10 any longer.

Ross Barkley rode the bench for the second successive week as Roberto Martinez begins to manage his game time.

Honourable Mentions:

As Brendan Rodgers switched to four at the back, Martin Skrtel got the nod ahead of summer acquisition Mamadou Sakho. He is been in form for several weeks now, whatever the system in play.

Steven Gerrard has also been largely brilliant, save for an abject showing at Arsenal, and is capable of just about anything from his deep-lying role.

Phil Jagielka has been chugging along nicely and looked primed for entry, but despite shutting out Crystal Palace, gave up far too many good opportunities.

Following a slow start to the season, Robin van Persie now has four in four at Premier League level.

  1. Mathieu Debuchy, Newcastle United

Last Week: N/RDifferential: New!

Mathieu Debuchy is a different player to the one we saw over the course of the 2012-13 season.
The former Lille man has put most of his erratic, petulant streak behind him to turn in some great performances. In the space of two weeks, he has helped his side beat Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur via strong defensive holds.
His goal in the Tyne-Wear derby will be the first of several, we assure you.

  1. Gareth Barry, Everton

Last Week: 9differential: None

Everton endured a disappointing result in drawing to Crystal Palace, but Gareth Barry can say he did his job.
It was not a perfect afternoon for the Englishman—the Eagles were allowed several clear-cut opportunities to score, largely squandered by Jerome Thomas—but he played his part in a clean sheet.
The renaissance continues!

  1. Adam Lallana, Southampton

Last Week: N/RDifferential: New!

Adam Lallana celebrated his call-up to the England squad by taking Hull City for a ride on Saturday.
It was just one of many dominant performances since the season started for Lallana, and his inclusion in our top 10 is long overdue. Those who arent in tune with the Saints will wonder what is so special about the midfielder, but once you train your eyes on him, his incredible technique and poise will be impossible to ignore.
The highlight of the game at St. Marys Stadium was when Lallana rounded four players and slotted home from an acute angle. Deadly.

  1. Sergio Aguero, Manchester City

Last Week: 6Differential: -1

Manchester City continue to be one of the most frustrating teams in world football, switching from 7-0 wins to 1-0 losses in successive weeks.
Sergio Agueros incredible scoring streak came to an end at the Stadium of Light. Despite totalingfour shots on goal, he came up empty on a disappointing afternoon.
It was the first time in five Premier League game weeks that Kun had failed to find the back of the net. He drops as a result, but not too far.

  1. Wayne Rooney, Manchester United

Last Week: 5Differential: -1

Manchester United put in a workman-like performance at Old Trafford on Sunday, stifling Arsenal and winning by a single goal from a corner.
No player in a red shirt truly stood out, but you can always count onWayne Rooney to put in a committed shift and work his socks off for the team.
Rooney got through his typical high volume of running, tracked back well and provided the inch-perfect delivery to set up Robin van Persie s winner.

  1. Luis Suarez, Liverpool

Last Week: 7Differential: +2

Luis Suarez bagged two goals against Fulham on Saturday to continue his rise in our rankings.
The Uruguayan continues to make up for lost time after missing the opening slate of Premier League games due to suspension, and he is now joined colleague Daniel Sturridge on eight goals for the season.
He is back to Ajax standards in terms of goals-to-game ratio.

  1. Olivier Giroud, Arsenal

Last Week: 2Differential: -2

Olivier Giroud had a poor game at Old Trafford on Sunday.
He was caught offside numerous times, committed four fouls and lacked any sort of rhythm with his midfield for the first 80 minutes.
When he eventually did spring to life, his hesitancy held Arsenal back, and a lack of confidence was evident in his apparent need to take way too many touches before getting a shot off.Better days are ahead for the Frenchman.

  1. Daniel Sturridge, Liverpool

Last Week: 4Differential: +1

Daniel Sturridge failed to score for the second game running, and in doing so looked a little frustrated with himself.
It was simply a case of the best scoring chances not falling to him on the day, and despite the fact that his side were winning, he reverted to snatching at half-chances and pot-shots to try to haul his name onto the scoresheet.
His linkup play and movement were excellent as usual.

  1. Dejan Lovren, Southampton

Last Week: 3Differential: +1

Dejan Lovren put in a typically commanding performance against Hull City on Saturday, and the only reason he did not bag yet another clean sheet for the season was due to a horrendous mistake by Victor Wanyama.

The Kenyan was caught in possession deep inside his own half. Six seconds later, the Tigers had pulled one back. Were it not for that single error, the Saints would be marching on with just four goals conceded, rather than five.

  1. Aaron Ramsey, Arsenal

Last Week: 1Differential: None

Aaron Ramsey s been king of our power rankings for a little while now, and this is the closest he s been to being knocked off his perch.

His performance at Old Trafford, like every other Arsenal player, was hardly a standout. However, he at least contributed in the defensive phases and helped quash several attacks early on.

Every form player has an off-week, right?

My opinion : Considering CL results concerning PL players, Ramsey has been undoubtly the most influencial, the most important, he is PL best scorer in CL in the group of death, i think he deserves his 1 st place considering his actual form.

What your impressions guys ?

Can't argue with that. Much as it pains me, Ramsey has been simply outstanding this season.

@Tiki_taka

Wow, how offensive. You seem to have misunderstood my tone. I simply asked you to cite your sources, because I hadn't seen it earlier in the post. And I can comment whatever I wish, thank you very much. It is called "freedom of speech", and I have not said anything to harm or offend you. :)

I find it rather offensive actually, that you just randomly spurt things out like,

" Stop being silly im not a Nolife which his only pleasure in his life is to be popular in a Football forum or someone racing for the most popular posts"

I don't think like that at all, and I am sorry that you feel that way.

"im not taking any credit, what a ridiculous way of thinking.... Thats your own method not mine"

Please tell me the last time I posted something written by someone else and I didn't cite my sources or apply a link. I told you to cite your sources because the content of the post speaks in a perspective of "we". I don't think you would've used "we" if you wrote this yourself. That's why I'm saying you shouldn't just copy and paste a post someone else made without citing it. I'm sure they still teach not to plagiarize in school, so I'm sure you already know not to do it. It is illegal. :)
