Chelsea (Very good team but not efficient enough in defense and in the final tier, Palmer finding back in first season form will be one of the key for them)
Manchester United (I feel like they can only get better from where they are and Cunha and Mbeumo should help them do much better this season at the very least)
Aston Villa (Still a good team but just not a strong as those above them, also, I feel like Emery is being less and less inspired, combine the fact they will propably focus on Europe, I don't expect they make it higher)

Newcastle (Still a good team but the whole situation with Isak is gonna hurt them so bad, especially early on in the season)

I just can't pick yet..... So many good signings this window for a lot of teams, which makes it difficult. Here is an 8-team list that I am just throwing at the wall. haha

@Algerino Honestly, I think you might be right, I'm surprised to see Amorim even with a pre-season is just not looking good as the coach for Manchester United. Considering everything they invested on him, all the player they signed for him, its crazy how its going as of now.

Its still too early to judge them completely but some of his choice are definetly unpopular, playing Bruno lower on the field with Casemiro in particular just haven't been that great.

At this point, I'm not sure its a question of players or coach, the structure at United must be in cause because a lot of players who go at United just drop in quality and if they had a great structure, it would make no sense.

Any new coach at the professional level, especially one as high-profile as the EPL, must accomplish a few key things to gain the players' buy-in. Sadly, players need to see a type of coach they can relate to; otherwise, they won't give their all.

Essentially, they seek buy-in by connecting with a coach who is either player-friendly, tactical, or an enforcer. These styles can be combined in various ways, but those are the main approaches. Coaches have different methods to achieve these goals, but they must apply them consistently. If they start as enforcers and become lax, players will stop pushing themselves. If they begin as a friendly coach and then withdraw, players won't trust them. Similarly, if a coach is known as a tactician but fails to demonstrate that ability, trust erodes again. It’s hard to believe that a professional player earning millions can be so heavily influenced by a coach that it affects their mental capacity to perform.

Today’s players, raised differently and requiring different kinds of authority, are more mentally aware and influenced beyond physical presence. Without addressing the mental aspect, players won’t perform at 100%.

Take Simeone, for example. He’s a combative, authoritative coach who also builds connections with his players; this not only compels them to follow him but makes them trust him completely. He earns trust through consistent behavior and by pushing himself to support the players, holding them accountable, and expecting their full effort. In return, they show loyalty and passion. He loves his players, the fans love his players, and that love drives effort. Ferguson was also a very tough coach—almost a dictator—who demanded hard work, humility, and team effort. He sought players willing to do the dirty work, fighters who bite, push, pull, and punch. He excelled at turning talented players grittier without sacrificing quality.

As for Amorim, the players don’t seem committed to him. I see no trust, no 100% effort, and still no clear tactical plan. They are not unified and unclear about their playing style. Does that mean it's only the coach’s fault? Partly, yes; partly, no. Manchester United is too soft and still expects opponents to give them things they haven't earned. Teams no longer fear them, and I see no efforts to change that on the pitch. United needs to regain its grit, but these players aren’t built for that.

With Mourinho free again, I wonder if United shouldn’t consider a change now, since it's early in the season, and see if he can put his stamp on the team. Maybe another coach? I don’t know what this version of United's back office wants, aside from the team winning everything, but until they are actually earning those wins, we will only see a shell of the mighty Man U.

Now im leaning towards the league being between us and liverpool after our new signings but it looks like Isak will go to liverpool now which may give them the advantage.

Bournemouth Palace Sunderland are the surprises so far and even liverpool as I didnt expect them to be this bad but they got away with it until they played a proper team with a proper manager.

We should easily be top but Arteta with his rookie mistakes continued to hold us back until the newcastle game where he started an attacking team for the first time in ages.

If Arteta allows our players to have more freedom in attack like our last 2 games in the UCL and EPL then I think we may be top of the table by january. Although Liverpool will eventually find their form but I dont know when.
