@Emobot7 I completely agree with you. This is going to be a very tight game, and if poland want to win Lewandoski needs to be on form and same with Portugal for Ronaldo. I cant wait for this game, will be very interesting

I agree we don't seem to have the best form now. But we have Pazdan on defence with his bald head haha. Lets go Poland!!!
EDIT: Pazdan is on the wishlist for Barca!!!

I actually don't agree that Portugal haven't been impressive. Certainly the scores haven't been what you expect from a side like Portugal with 3 ties and 1 win, but if you look at how they completely rolled over their group opponents, especially Austria, creating chance after chance, the most one-sided 0-0 game I've ever watched, I just think they have been unlucky.
vs Croatia it was different, as they sat back and didn't allow Croatia a single shot on target for 90 minutes. They defended with very high quality and concentration in that game. Spain weren't even close to do the same.
At the same time time Poland have been impressive especially defensively but on a normal day isn't even close to the quality football that Portugal can play.
No disrespect to Poland but I'd much rather want them through as I think we (Belgium) will go out in a semi vs Portugal.
I got my money on Poland. Shouldn't even be close :P
don't want pazdan at barca.
hm, hard to tell which team will have the upper hand in this game. Portugal have many talented players but they never really give us a convincing performance. I mean, they have quality, but for some reason they're not so strong as a group. Honestly, I didn't expect them to beat Croatia, but they proved me wrong & It REALLY wouldn't hurt to see them win/dominate a big game (please don't disappoint me again). On the other hand, I hope Lewy scores tonight (he deserves to, really). Give us a good show boys!!! Can't wait :D
Renato is amazing, crucial for his team in both games And he got the double with Benfica. Bayern made an amazing buy. Elegant, composed, mentally and physically strong, serious and experienced. Definitely be a future star and he is only 18....
@Tiki Agreed, he was essential for his team in this match and even though some might say he got a bit lucky on the deviation, I still think that one-two was a thing of beauty.
After seeing the game, I believe it was actually quite fair that Portugal won, they could have had a pen and Ronaldo fluff two very good chance that he really should have finished. They were also the better side in my opinion, managing to keep possession of the ball much more than Poland and getting it in their opponent half a lot. I just think that they lacked a bit of imagination upfront. Both team were also very solid in defense. I really would have liked Poland to go trough but Portugal really seemed the better side despite taking a goal early in the game.
Isn't anyone going to point out Portugal is yet to win a single game in this Euro and is now in the simi-final? How on earth would that happen. They've been fairly lucky tbh and haven't displayed the most attractive of football but well, they got there somehow. Now Im kind of rooting for them, it will be interesting to see how far can they go.
^To be fair, in all games so far they show positive and negative. Negative because they've missed many chances and their football isn"t really fantastic, however defending is good so far and they have a couple of good actions that lead to goals, however they aren't enough to save themselves frome extra time and the penalties.
Once a solid squad and ambitionnist and creative team will meet them e.g Germany or Belgium, they won't stand long.
@Tuanis, and are you going to point out that they were the better team in every single of those games by far except against Croatia where both teams were defending and scared.
Portugal ran over Iceland and Austria, should have won both on normal day, were better than Hungary and now Poland and 50/50 vs Croatia where defence and afraidness was the factor.
Lucky? Not at all. If anything, Portugal have been unlucky so far this tournament, and I'm not a Portugal fan.

Lucky? Lmao, you're a hater. If anything, Portugal have been unlucky so far this tournament, and I'm not a Portugal fan.
By the way, as others have pointed out, this Renato Sanches boy is the biggest talent on earth. What a composure, nerve of steel, strength, shooting and technical ability for a 18 year old. Best player on the pitch today along with Pepe.
Again, can't wait if it is Belgium vs Portugal.
Portugal were one of the teams that created the most chances and shots. Plus they have been really unlucky, missing so many chances, its uncountable. They have one problem only, they make any team, from low tire to top tire, their equal.
Hungary looked strong against us, but belgium ran over them. Croatia dismantled spain, but could barely make a shot against us.
I agree they should try winning to be more deserving future champions, but heck, as long as their qualifying, thats fine by me.
portugal getting stronger and stronger each time building in confidence
Both team will face tomorrow and it will no doubt being an interesting game. Both team doesn't seem at the top of their form. Lewandoski in particular haven't done anything too impressive since the beginning of the Euro, no doubt, he will have to find his scoring form back if Poland are to suceed tomorrow. On another hand, Portugal hasn't been that impressive and despite a good match against Hungary, Ronaldo is having a hard time to be as effective as he would like. In my opinion, its gonna be a tight match, can't wait to see them in action in the next game.
