Just take care of Yedlin when he comes back from Sunderland. That's my boy right there.
Honestly I don't even know where to begin with him. He's played poorly only because of all the other poor quality around him, it's been difficult for him to make the adjustment when everyone around him are struggling
He's been decent for Sunderland. In the games I've seen he's mostly ok in defence, although he does get caught out of position occasionally as he goes so far forwards. However, what he gives going forward is amazing. There were entire games where the only chances Sunderland had came from Yedlin's crosses.
Now Pochettinio has worked wonders for Spurs these past few months but I have to question his decisions on a few topics. First off sending young Alex Pritchard to West Brom of all clubs, clearly he didn't look at what happened to poor Serge Gnarby who couldn't even make the bench. Reasons unknown, but I've concluded it being nothing more than Tony Pulis finding other bullshit excuses to not use out and out wingers always opting for holding midfielder out wide, then the important question comes into place does Pulis play attractive football where Pritchard will thrive. The answer is no, anyone who watches West Brom knows they just use long ball tactics and a practical back 5 in the hopes of playing counter attacking football. But if LC or Crystal Palace have taught me anything that is not counter attacking football. One can only pray the young English talent doesn't be another lamb to the slaughter. My more pressing issue is that lack of Centre forward options
Sure many are going to argue we have Nje and Son but it's not their natural position, Son proved he can play in the lone role but that isn't often for us to say he's a genuine number 9 and Nje has been used as a winger more often than not. I can only hope that Kane and Son can pull through the strike burden for these next few testing months.
