I won't mention anyone that left the club because of aging because they are +30 / 36 now, and I think it's ok.

*But* Arjen Robben should have stayed with us.. and now he is still 29. He played a great 3 seasons for us 2004/2007 I really was shocked when they sold him to real madrid.. he was 23 when he left us.

Bojan left to acquire some more first team football. Messi was taking up his position, and when he saw that even Ibra couldn't replace Messi, he knew it was his time to leave.

He left because his dream move to Spurs wasn't on the cards yet, and we clearly wanted him to prove himself in Italy, first... >.>

I disagree with all the Chelsea fans here except Alex. Ballack was declining really fast and to be fair... was a bit overrated. Joe Cole had this contract argument with Chelsea and was becoming injury prone. Deco was also declining massively. The only player the other Chelsea fans excluding Alex picked that I would agree with is Drogba. When I look back now at how we have the one and only Fernando Torres and Ba, we should have never sold Drogba.

Forget to mention that my number one list would be Robben as well :P.

Makelele along with del bosque was the biggest mistakes by Madrid in the last 50 years imo
