Silva, no doubt. Ramos too rash, too often.

Even tho im a huge Madridista.. I have to vote only for THIS season with Thiago Silva... Ramos is actually better but he sometimes gets way too much aggresive and many yellow/red cards.

Ramos is penetrative right back with amazing stamina and great technical abilities . In World Cup his contribution on the right was immense. In confederation cup or world cup qualification when he was in center half , I could blame him for quiet number of rookie mistakes that cost Spain victory or a goal . Yes in the center with his abilities he can play the high line and , but sometimes he is not disciplined and makes very silly mistakes . When I say sometimes , it is actually too often for a central defender who is playing for Real Madrid . Central defender needs to read the game well and always stay concentrated . Ramos is still a typical right back who allows himself some slacking .

Sergio Ramos is a right back and Thiago Silva is a CB. So you can't compare them. Ramos is being played out of position.
