PFA Shortlist

Vardy
Kane
Kante
Payet
Mahrez
Ozil

IMO the clear winner is Mahrez, he has been outstanding this season. Only match for him is Vardy but I think the key to Leicester's success is definitely the Algerian.
Where is De Gea :'(
Has Payet been doing that well all season? Was it just me who noticed him until 2016.. As For Ozil, it seems as it was the other way around having his best performance in the beginning of the season.
Is anyone missing?

Also for the Young player of the year we have the shortlist:

Harry Kane
Dele Alli
Romelu Lukaku
Ross Barkley
Jack Butland
Philippe Coutinho

Is it just me or is Martial missing in this list? Has he not performed as well as we might think..
Nice to include Butland in the list, his performance this season and contribution to the team has been noticed.
How on earth does Coutinho still qualifies for this list...Can believe he is that good and still so young.
Probably Alli will take it.

Thoughts?...

Where is De Gea? He individually won more points and games than any other player this season.

Who would De Gea replace, Payet? Would be hard choice but I think the nominations doesn't matter, it will be either Mahrez or Vardy.
And ho is Harry Kane still young player of the year? I would give it to Dele Alli

Dele Alli should be young player of the year . He has been vital to Spurs .

I think player of the year should Mesut Ozil . If whole Arsenal was playing up to their potential Ozil would have had even bigger season . It won't be unfair if Mahrez or Vardy gets it but I think Leicester needs to get award for a whole team which is EPL title . Every player was vital and there are other players who contributed just as much Mahrez , Vardy and Kante .

If it was twitter poll Ozil would win with 90%, but we all know it's either for Mahrez/Vardy.
Football isn't played for if, so I don't believe Ozil got any chance of winning it.

I think Vardy should get it, but I wouldn't have a complaint with Mahrez or Ozil.

Ali for young player for sure. If Lukaku actually spurred Everton to success, I'd go with him, but he didn't so....

Mahrez for sure. Ozil has faded along the season.

Thats great, both deserved it. It goes to show skill and hard work is rewarded, hopefully, they don't let it go to their head and keep playing well for their team in the remaining fixture.
