For me PES is better

I like PES,i play it much more than FIFA

PES = Video Game

FIFA = Sport Simulation

That moment when you wanna kill that game..

Fifa 14 was clearly better than PES 14.If Konami finally make new changes,better menu and controls,I would play PES. Best thing in free Fifa is they have Fifa World,like free Ultimate Team.I didn't tried it yet,but I would.

@CroatiaFan123, I absolutely agree. PES 14 was a joke compared to FIFA 14 and all the PES games that preceded it.

Fifa has the better rights, features, graphics.

But, PES has far better gameplay, only matched by Fifa 11.

PES till about 2007-2008 was very competetive with Fifa. Ever since, FIfa has dominated PES.

haven't played pes since 2008. on fifa game i played was 2011 and it was really annoying.. Old pes was legendary.

But overall (including online platform, copyright) Fifa starts to be better since Fifa12.

PES14 was a total failure, that's when I completely switched to Fifa, despite the fact that PES game play still better.

Gotta love fifa.

^ this FIFA is fuuuulll of errors/glitches so I dont think it is fair to compare PES and FIFA taking into consideration FIFA 15 before it gets fixed. Believe me, I have also wanted to kill my gk.

With that being said... Ive always played FIFA, I dont see what people like so much about PES. Does it even still have Chelsea as London FC? They may have the CL and EL rights but I rather have the EPL rights, it goes better with the gameplay. Another reason I have never wanted to switch to PES is because Im already used to the gameplay, like the career mode which I love/hate so much, the be-a-pro, the Ultimate Team and stuff like that.

Ive played FIFA since 2003 so it's more like a tradition to stick with FIFA rather than PES.
Also... Ive seen many people and convinced many friends to change from PES to FIFA but I dont know any cases that went the other way..

@Tuanis: uhmnn the reason we played PES was because the gameplay itself was far better, the randomness in every situation was much more realistic.

In Fifa, before FIFA15 I meant still NOW, every corner are almost the same... Then, those high through ball passes are ridiculous. the low through ball looked the same for EVERY PLAYER. In Fifa, speed and strength are almost everything. You can did a lob pass through ball even if you turn your back around etc... the defenders are incredibly stupid in those situation.

In PES, gameplay are real, I felt more close to how I play in real life, the bouncing, the movement are somewhat as I expected to happen. But in PES14, it's HORRIBLE. I hope their new engine would fix this shit.

You are right about copyright, it's frustrating, WTF is London FC (Chelsea), Meyerside Red (Liverpool), North London (Arsenal) and only nerd would have it fix, sometimes I plug my PC on TV (HDMI) just to play with patches so I have the real stadium, leagues, names for PES... When you have the patches, Fifa is no where :

I played BOTH since their early ages. I play PES on console and Fifa on computer, then both on console. PES gameplay has always been better, but overall, Fifa is ahead now, especially with copyright and online competition.

tuan_jinn, there is a difference between gameplay and realism...
PES is more enjoyable because it's an arcade game, made for being played by good gamers.
In terms of realism, please, FIFA is SO MUCH more realistic because it's a football simulation.
More leagues & clubs, more players in every club, better rating of the players (more than 40 factors), more player faces, more different moves on the pitch (skills for example) and better game modes (career mode, FUT, ...)
Visualy, FIFA looks realistic (actions and situations on the pitch, number of goals, clubs personalities, players personalities) that made it the best football simulation.

"In Fifa, speed and strength are almost everything." You forgot the end of the sentence "when you don't play well".

Fifa sure do have good graphics, and they're really realistic.

I' m playing PES whole life. PES14 have 100 mistakes,I hope PES15 (release date 17.Nov) will be much better.

for me PES has always been better but the best one was PES2011, in general PES has a higher learning curve and the gameplay is more enjoyable and rewarding, Fifa is just about licences. Despite its flaws the strengths more than makes up for those flaws, too bad this years PES is comings out in November..

@Keisuke nope, its the other way around in the realism aspect... Please play PES before you judge
