Ozil left the Santiago Bernabeu on deadline day as part of a £42.5 million deal taking him to the North London club, much to the disappointment of fans and players alike.

Spanish newspaper AS reported Cristiano Ronaldo as saying to his Portugal teammates, “The sale of Ozil is very bad news for me.“He was the player who best knew my moves in front of goal… I’m angry about Ozil leaving.”

As well as the winger, Real and Spain full-back Sergio Ramos has also been left disappointed by Ozil’s departure, stating the he “would be the very last player” he would sell.

He said, “I’ve always had a real ‘feeling’ with him, and it’s a shame. He’s a great footballer, unique. Ozil would be the very last player who I would sell from Real Madrid, if it was up to me. I don’t understand this.

“But he has decided, and the club too. We have a great team and I hope it will be a big year [for us].”

During Gareth Bale’s unveiling as a Real Madrid player last Monday following his £85 million transfer from Tottenham, fans present at the stadium chanted “don’t sell Ozil” during proceedings.

However, the Real president has since spoken on the Germany international, claiming that Ozil rejected a contract worth €6.5 million as he wants €8.5 million-a-year.

Perez also branded the 24-year-old a bad professional, adding that he is “obsessed with women”.

He was quoted as saying by Spanish website abc.es, “Ozil was not a good professional. He was obsessed with women. He would go out at night with his mistresses and without sleep for hours and hours.

Basically Perez's excuse if Real Madrid do poor due to a lack of a proper play-maker. If Barca bust our ass, I'm pointing my finger at Perez. It's like the Makelele story all over again.

Ronaldo has a child and a girlfriend. He also doesn't drink alcohol. There couldn't be a more committed man to his work. He does not go out to bars, and neither is he "obsessed with women".

Well... yeah. Anything wrong with dating someone? How on earth does that prove that he is obsessed with women? Lol. Dating three different people in your life is absolutely normal. And just to prove he's not obsessed with women, he's had the same girlfriend for 3 years now.
