Pep can lose his temper when he's under pressure. This was during Bayern's loss to Dortmund. I don't doubt that Pep was just trying to remind Thiago of his ability and amp him up a bit. You know, like "Come on Thiago you're better than that!".

If it was me I would have made the pitch his grave I have a lot of pride. That's a bad behavior from Guardiola and disrespectful. They signed him to play football not to be a slave. maybe I'm just exaggerating but I wouldn't take it nicely.

I don't think he would do this to any player, but because he knew Thiago for a years, I think he kind of treats him like his son (pure speculation from me)
