Paul Pogba - post covid-19, stay or leave?

MU fans?

Better question, should we keep him or should we sell him?

People have been talking about him + Bruno to be the killing mid. Potentially, yes, on paper yes.

Probably the biggest talent we have, but with bad attitude. I personally think: with MU, he would going nowhere. He's just not suitable for our shirt, one day he can be as magical as Messi and the next day he just seems careless, as bad as Joe. It's ashamed though, :( he has all the potential to be the very best mid.

Not to mention he seems to be a toxic against coach in the dressing room (not sure if that's true), and an insane amount of wage.

I am torn here. I don't think management has enough sway to make Pogba check himself, so they will never be able to "control" him. Some managers can pull that off with big players, but many can't.

I would love to see him stay with the club, but with how things are set up right now, it would be best to sell and get some money for him.

I would keep him in a heartbeat if I knew I could get the best out of him, have him committed to the team.

No team will pay what he's worth, so squeeze what we can out of him and if Real or Juve want to get serious then this is a discussion. But they don't, so it's not a discussion worth having.

When you're on the cusp on something good you don't sell your best player unless you absolutely have to and we don't.

Damn.. I want him stay at least one more season.. I think we ll get 4-5 players and make decent team. Pogba and many other players will be happy including fans. I m optimistic about this. We know that players cant love mufc like fans do and if club does not showing ambitious players can show something we don't like to see but we should understand how does it works. Even Rooney wanted to leave due to lack of investment and it actually worked good for all of us. If Pogba leaves now we ll have to buy 2 top caliber midfielders if not we need 1. However I think Ole will sort it out before season starts.

Really curious to see this guy play with Bruno Fernandes tbh. Personally, I still think that if his bad attitude doesn't get better, he need to leave. Though like Sunflash said, its unlikely any club will satisfy United demand and considering how Pogba is acting, I don't see them makin much pf an effort to compromise either. I still think he never realised completely the step up he was supposed to do when leaving Juve for United. He was suppose to be at the center of the project but for me he still lacked the maturity for such a thing and still do today.

Just to be clear, he is not our best player. Far from that. He is the most profilic player with biggest potential, on paper.

And he might bring all kinds of toxic crap to our team if he doesnt change. His swag and Mr. Lingard's :D.

But i agree with you guys, hardly any team would bring him home, may be Juve. If so, cash him and use that money to buy others.

Eh, he's too old for the potential talk now. The reality is is that he was a keystone of a world cup winning squad and is the only player we've got who could slide into any starting 11 in the world.

That makes him our best player, even if his attitude sucks. And Juve is having cash flow issues from before corona, so they wouldn't have the money to do it even if they wanted too. No, Pogba is at United for the foreseeable future, not because Ole doesn't want to offload him, but because in the post corona world no one is going to pay what it will take.

Him and Neymar are overhyped media talents that with egocentric looks and way of living they make headlines rather than their natural football talent

I would not take Pogba even if it was a free move for Chelsea. His attitude and non-existent proffesionalism makes me wanna puke, so many kids would dream to be on his place to play football but no he prefers to DAB and do haircuts instead of working his way to the top with ManU. He will be forgotten in 10 years or be mentioned only as a overpaid flop in the history of ManU.

So, apparently, Pogba would be willing to extend his contract at United seeing how thing start to look better and better for the club. Personally, I think it would make sense, he seem to be enjoying himself a lot more since he started playing with Fernandes and tbh, he still got thing to prove at United. Thought?

A committed player will always look better and I agree, I think he should stay. I always wanted him to stay but was concerned he was not in it for the team.

They have that last CL spot to fight for and the team looks to be playing some good football. If I was his agent, I would advise to stay and help create a new Man Utd. That will look great on his resume.

I really dislike the fickleness of fans. I get that United fans in particular are bad for this, given the size of the fanbase, but the general attitude towards Pogba from the start of the season has been a really discouraging. Beyond denying his quality, people were suggesting that he was faking injuries and other nonsense. I said in this thread several months ago that Pogba is the only player we have who could start for any side in the world and I still believe that. Just now, after after a sample size of a couple games since restart, suddenly all United fans and most other fans agree. This is so dumb...

@Sunflash Agreed. XD But to be fair, thing chance fast in football and tbh, when you listen to pundit and other "specialist", they are just as fickle as some fans. Quite easy to become victim of that when you follow the media's and listen to footballs community.

My comment is simple- If Pogba wants to leave, he should be sold. No player is bigger than the club. If he wants to play for the club and antics are for pay? Ask to perform and pay him.

Pogba never wanted to be the main man in the team. Bruno has been a revelation for not just our squad, but especially for Pogba. He no longer has to carry all the burden that the our chaotic fanbase are always edging on. The lesser the pressure for Pogba, the absolute better. With that said, Pogba is still one of our most treasured players at the moment, and even if it will be hard to keep him in the club, it will be harder to find another like his kind. He's that good, and if he's happy with how our club is finally progressing, then he better sign da ting!
