It's great to see a club who want to compete and are not just content with not getting relegated.
Also, I was really impressed with Luke Shaw's performance against WBA.

I really like that team . Great fighters and brave too . No way for relegation fight for them, maybe mid of the table , why not !
I agree with mladen. Southampton are looking good this season!
Southampton and Swansea are becoming good teams...
Wow, great signing for Southampton, along with Wanyama. They look like a real threat now!
A bit of a twat off the pitch but nevertheless he is a great striker and will shine in the EPL.
I heard he was a trouble maker and that Roma wanted to get rid of him all summer..
He is a trouble maker but I don't think they would want to get rid of their best striker. The reason is because everyone at Roma can be sold, if the offer is good of course. That's why there were reports of Lamela to Tottenham or De Rossi to Chelsea. Also, Stekelenburg to Fulham and Marquinhos to PSG.
Southampton have signed Italy striker Pablo Osvaldo from Roma for a club-record fee of £15m.
Got to say, I'm impressed! I bet he'll score a lot of goals for the Saints, he's a top top striker in my eyes. Well done Southampton.
Osvaldo, 27, has nine caps for the Azurri and has signed a four-year deal.
It is the second time in the transfer window that Southampton have broken their transfer record, having previously spent £12.5m on Celtic's Kenyan midfielder Victor Wanyama.
The club wrote on Twitter: "Osvaldo will be officially presented as a Saints player tomorrow."
