@knibis: I watched him when he started at Chelsea. AVB played him a lot and he was excellent, especially considering his age. He got injured but Di MAtteo & then Benitez didn't really favour him much.
I think he's a great acquisition. I'm not sure he's "injury prone" to be fair. I think if he got a good run of games (like a good 1/2 season) he'd be a real asset and worth looking at for a buyout. Chelsea are stacked in midfield and probably going to end up getting 1 more CDM (since they decided to loan out Romeu). If that's the case, they might be more reasonable in terms of a price.
I dont know how i feel about this as we just got Fuego who i rate a bit higher but its nice we got competition in that position, so both perform on their max, Oriol will have to fight for a first team spot..
This Loan deal is 99% done and he is scheduled for a medical tomorrow only the doctors could stop him from playing at us this season. He said he would agree to a contract for 4 years but that about Valencia buying him will be discussed next summer. The loan deal is for 1 year...
I heard he is injury prone and missed out on layng time in Chelsea when he was injured, hope he doesnt get injured at Valencia...
