@Dyna, thats not always true. I must agree that there are many talents ruined in Madrid but since Carlo came he gave everyone abit of playtime and he made the squad small. Im glad with this formation. I hope Carlo will stay very long because this guy is just a genius. Kroos to Madrid is a good transfer you wanna know WHY?. Khedira is leaving, and Xabi is getting old. Then you still would get a couple of good mids but not enough. Morata will be loaned out thats great so he can get some experience. Benzema will get his chance i again i think, because Liverpool is flirting with him atm. Falcao might come wich is great. James replaces Di Maria. EVERYTHING IS GOING AMAZING! Real Madrid is getting brighter and we still have better talents than La Masía and the best in Spain.

We'll see how Carlo deals with this situation. Tactically, it'll be difficult to fit both Kroos and James into the same lineup, while simultaneously maintaining Ronaldo and Bale on the wings, and Benz up front. But he's handled his first season here fantastically, so I'm trusting him right now. I hope he uses his experience wisely. One mistake at Madrid is worth an incredible lot when you're a manager. Just look at how Mourinho's situation turned out when he wasn't able to handle the dressing room properly.

@Dynastian98: If they buy Rodriguez that would mean Benzema would be benched or sold. Because Kroos and Rodriguez will not be sitting on the bench, especially if Rodriguez will be brought for like 70M. Kroos will probably play CDM like he used to play at Bayern along with Alonso. Bale and Rodriguez as wingers, with Ronaldo as striker and Modric as CAM. Or Kroos and Modric will switch positions...

Lol, we never use Ronaldo as a striker. He's so clueless at that position. He doesn't know how to make the runs of a striker. He's basically restricted to a wing position. Benzema will be kept, mark my words. If Benzema is sold, then that would be folly from Real Madrid's management. Benz brings the best out of Ronaldo and Bale.

Agree with @Dyn, Ronaldo is a scoring machine but only if he starts out as a winger, not a central striker, he's kinda clueless, and playing in the middle makes him less unpredictable. He can't utilize his pace to the max either.

@Dynastian98 and tuan_jinn: Agree with both of you for the most part, however, Ronaldo played as a CF for Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho. Especially his last couple of years at Utd, he was the central striker and Rooney played on the wings...but they used to interchange a lot I must say...

And his scoring record would suggest that he has had mixed results. 42 goals in one season, 26 in the other. When kept as a pure winger, he averages more than a goal-per-game ratio.

@Dynastian: True, but EPL is always like that. You can not always repeat a 42 goal season. But I would like to see how Carlo plays all of Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema, Rodriguez, Kroos and Modric at the same time unless the last two play as CM/CDM positions, which would not suit their game play. Alonso/Asier will probably take one spot...just my opinion. This would also mean that Modric or Alonso might be on their way out due to restricted game time or Kroos will just be happy warming the bench....

Pretty sure we're loaning out Asier. Don't know why we spent so much for him in the first place. He wasn't even worth half of his 39 Million...

@Dynastian: That means, that Kedhira will not be sold because Alonso is the only CDM on the squad, and an injury to Modric or Kroos would mean some serious lack of bench depth...btw, congrats for landing James Rodriguez...

Thank you, but I feel that he is an unnecessary signing unless di Maria leaves. The reason we haven't been able to consistently win trophies (despite having some of the greatest squads of the 21st century) is because we have no stability in the squad. What stability we had under Mourinho has been lost now. Players are changing constantly again, and Perez looks like he's going to make the same mistake twice (sold Makelele the first time, and will sell di Maria this time).

@Dynastian98: You are correct. This could be a monumental mistake. DiMaria was the catalyst for Real's dominance this season. I don't know how Rodriguez will influence the team, but we will see...
