NYCFC kick off today

New York City FC, USA 1 18

I know its MLS & some people don't find it entertaining, but this is surely the match to see. The two newest clubs of the league; NYCFC and Orlando City kick off their seasons this afternoon in front of an expected 60,000 people. I've checked with many articles and they expect Orlando City to pull it off; so I'll ask you guys - Who do you think will win?

How do you define plastic? If you define a plastic club as a team which buys many players, then and starting team is a plastic club.

^ Well, for starters... it has CFC in it's abbreviation which is obviously followed by the lack of history...

sorry it was just too perfect...

Yeah I agree. I'm not a supporting them or anything, I am just arguing that every club has to start out somewhere. And in order to start out in the MLS you need a sugar daddy. So almost every new club can be considered plastic in the MLS. (I interviewed the owner of Orlando SC, and it is basically the same story of a very very rich guy funding a new team.)

I think it's great. The more new teams in the US the better. They need it. They need the competition. Maybe in 10 years football will be the biggest sport there as well instead of static sports like american football and baseball!

@zak yeah you're very funny (or not). 110 years of history isn't enough for you?

no idea who'll win though! Don't really care but maybe in the future we'll care as football/soccer is getting better and better there..

Kaka was an outstanding talent in his prime... good to see him succeed again.

I actually love watching MLS and I though Orlando was going to win it easily. This is going to be a great MLS season.

I watched MLS when Beckham was at LA... actually a lot of games are more entertaining than we thought... some players are really good there...

Btw, agree with @messsi!!!
