how cleverley is becoming your scapegoat reminds me of ramsey the last few seasons. So keep faith in your players if your manager offers him a new contract he sees something in him.

Ramsey is more talented though

Tom Cleverly is 24 years old. He needs to be hitting form but he has yet to find anything after one decent season.
I understand him missing chances or playing bad at 20-22 but now he's no longer the young unexperienced player anymore. He's 24 and he needs to do better than what he's currently doing.

There's a chance he might end up like anderson/nani, who looked promising but ends up being average. Still has a chance though, but he needs to do better.

Ramsey was understandable because he is young, he's 23 and hitting form now so there's no problem anymore.
