I sure hope so! He's a decent manager and i think Valencia would benefit from this if true.
Former Chelsea manager, Roberto di Matteo has reportedly flown to Valencia to take over as the new manager, just two days following the sacking of former manager, Mauricio Pellegrino.
Following Valencia’s 2-5 loss to Real Sociedad last Saturday evening,
an emergency board meeting was held by club president, Manuel Llorente,
while Pellegrino was giving post-match comments to the media.
After the press conference, Pellegrino found Llorente in the locker
room waiting to give him the news of his dismissal, to which Pellegrino
went into a rage, calling Llorente “spineless”.
According to a report from RadioMARCA, Di Matteo has
landed in Valencia to workout the final details of a contract that will
see the Champions League winning manager remain the first team coach
through the end of the season, with the contract expiring in June.
At that point, they will then discussed the terms of an extension, or work out their candidate for the permanent position.
Di Matteo is expected to be announced by Valencia in a press conference scheduled for Monday morning.
Meanwhile, many news outlets are refuting the reports, stating that
it will be Ernesto Valverde, whose appointment comes with mixed feelings
from Valencia fans.
They need him, they have bad results too.
Well done to him
This is quite shocking. I never expected this but it can be a good thing. He has January to buy players and he did a miracle at Chelsea. I just hope we don't end up defending the entire game.
Ernesto Valverde is the new Valencia manager, NOT RDM!
I Read that on several facebook pages related to Chelsea that Roberto Di Matteo is appointed as Valencia F.C new head coach as their previous coach was sacked yesterday.I also read it on WIKIPEDIA
my request to Valencia fans that please tell me that is it true or not??
