England had a golden generation in the 2000's who have mostly left top clubs or retired. Kane and Sterling both have potential, but to say that they deserve their 40+ price tags is absurd. They have not proven anything. Kane has only played at the top level for one season, and this was without the Champions League. Sterling can't even perform on a consistent basis for his team. If he deserves a 40+ price tag, he should be emulating Suarez's form with Liverpool. Even if we take in Suarez's extremely inflated price tag, Sterling can't even match half of Suarez's numbers, so he shouldn't be worth half of what Suarez is worth.

England are only world beaters in the eyes of their own fans. The truth is that England have not been anything special in any of the recent major tournaments, and frequently fall short to other top class nations. Some kids need to watch football before speaking.

The reason why he's price is over 40m is because he is world class for his age and has huge potential to become the next Ronaldinho or players in them styles. I guarantee you when sterling is around 25 he will be the world best player and his price tag will be 150m so the team who buys him for 40m+ is having an absolute bargain in the future.

i think the reason england are not as good as other top europe team is that they lack chemistry. :l a good squad with good players.
