De Gea without a doubt

DeGea for me. He plays in a team with make shift defense for about half the time. The midfield does not provide a defensive cover. And the team would be like 10th in the league with out him. You take Neuer out of Bayern, they would still be winning the league...

True, both are very good player who make or break a game, but De Gea is really capital for Manchester United and without him, they would most likely not do as well. Neuer is still very good but because of his sweeper style of play, he sometime make mistake and even in important game that can hurt his team. Also, De Gea is actually younger which mean he will most likely improve even more in the future, it also mean he will be able to keep playing at the top level for a longer time than Neuer. I guess its a question of personal opinion, I would pick De Gea for myself but I would understand someone who would take Neuer over him.

It's gone kind of under the radar, but Neuer hasn't had a year as good as his previous ones. He's still the best keeper in the world, but he's far from untouchable the way he was in the last two seasons.

Personally, I'd go with De Gea. His performances for United, while fantastic, are slightly overshadowed by his play in the national team, which has been beyond world-class, the game versus Ukraine in particular. Either way, I think he's the better option.
