This man deserves a thread now. Some may be in doubt if he is the absolute best DM right now but i'm not after watching him week after week destroying everyone for Benfica in Portugal and now Chelsea in England. So many people have seen the last couple of weeks how good he really he is.

The one game he missed this season is the only game they lost: vs Newcastle.

I think he is truly best CDM in world. I think, who is better than him now? Fantastic player, one of best Chelsea buys for some years. Great post by Eurosport thought.

Good joke. He's definitely in the top 10 Yaya Toure, Lahm, Pogba, Schweinsteiger are all better than Matic.

@rogerblack explain. Toure and Pogba are more box-to-box (passing) than DMs (breaking up play) imo.

Easily the worlds best CDM, and this is a big call, but I'm going to say he's our most important player. If you honestly watch our games, half the attacks are broken down by him, they don't usually reach the keeper. He does his job exceptionally. He has skill to, roulettes, nutmegs etc as well as a fierce left boot. He breaks down many, many counter attacks and thats something important when you have an attacking team.
