The whole NBA weekend thing is nice. It would be even better if it was adopted in European football.

For purposes of entertainment, if a starting eleven Liga, Bundesliga, BPL, Serie A, and Ligue 1 squad were built to compete for a short period it would be really entertaining.

It's quite interesting to see star players combining forces for Charity matches.

a league should have a 1 weekend break for an allstar weekend.

like for example in La Liga we should have a game between the best 22 in South spain and the best 22 in North Spain.

or in England a Northwest vs London Game.

in Italy like a Sicily 11 vs a Sardinia 11.

Turin 11 (Torino and Juventus) vs Milan 11(AC and Inter Milan).

Another Spanish Idea would be a Barcelona 11 (rcd espanyol and FC Barcelona) vs a Madrid 11 (Real and Atletico Madrid)

Not instead of a league weekend, the schedules are tight enough as it is, and games with no real issue are boring imo. So I'm not against the idea but I don't know if I would watch. Culture of entertainment is very american thing. That's why they created the allstar games.
