A real bummer. He was having a terrific season. Now he's out for 8 weeks. i guess it is good news that he isn't out for too long.

Here is the horror tackle:

Here is the video by Man City addressing this injury:

A absolute red in my eyes. Idk why he only got a yellow. Watching the game on TV i heard nasri screaming in pain. At least they got the win though.

Bad news for France and of course for Samir, he missed the last World cup, im hoping to see him playing before the final world cup list.

I'm sad for Nasri that he's injured but am I the only one that thinks this tackle isn't as bad as people are saying?

^^ The initial one is still okay but the second hack on the leg is surely malicious and uncalled for.

Hopefully he recovers in time.

I think referee did not want to make Newcastle crowd even more angrier and wanted to balance his first error when he disallowed goal . He was under huge pressure . Newcastle lost their heads and did play very rough but that is a straight red no matter what .

All the best, fast. Hope he will be in WC and won't do any provocative talking or movements.

@FredTilson
Of course it was malicious and uncalled for but his second tackle kind of like slided across Nasri's left leg.
