I still think that some people are a little too harsh on him. He's a half-decent manager, just not good enough to manage a club of the caliber of Manchester United. I mean, the guy maintained Everton in the top 6-7 of the EPL consistently for so many years. He deserves at least a little bit of credit. It's not his fault he inherited a United side that has a crap defense and an even worse midfield. He didn't have much time to find replacements, and out of the ones he did find, one is a walking pole with an afro, and the other is one of the best midfielders in the world who has been misused by David Moyes.
