Ha. You know what I found out?

Turns out that in this 70m transfer double, officially it's 45m for James, and 25m for Moutinho. Yes, you heard me right. No, that should not be the other way around.

Well, unless of course you're going by ability. Moutinho is easily the big buy in this transfer. HOWEVER. Apparently Sporting Lisbon still own 25% of his transfer rights, and so Porto have to cut them a cheque. In order to minimize how much they have to pay out to Sporting, Porto simply agreed to have James listed as the 'big one'.

Hahaha. You have to admit that's good business. :p

Anyway good news for French league, it will be interesting to see a strong team competing with PSG. and the reaction of the old big teams : Marseille, Lyon.....
La ligue 1 will be interesting to watch next year, hope at least 3 horses race.

@Lodatz: Right on spot. The fact that James got sold for 45 million and Moutinho 25 doesn't mean the former is worth more. Our president decided to raise the price on James and lower the price on Moutinho on purpose due to Sporting owing 25% of him, so if a resale happened, they would get 25% of the transfer. Now they "only" got 25% of 25 million.

However, there was talk that Porto on purpose would make James' price 69 million and Moutinho's 1 million. But, that turned out not to be the case as it can start a lot of trouble.
