Who's Michael Owen, well he's the guy that sold his soul to the devil for titles, money, and Sir Alex Ferguson's dick. I know what that the thread is about him being the international ambassador for Liverpool, but I just want to do it for fun. Michael Owen was a youth prospect from, guess, no, really guess, from Liverpool. Ok you already knew. Michael Owen became one of the idols for Liverpool. The other one was Steven Gerrard, then in 2004 he went to Real Madrid for one year, then to Newcastle. Then in 2009 he went to Manchester United! Now imagine a piano doing dun dun duuun. Ok he wasn't awesome with the team but he WENT TO MANCHESTER UNITED!! that still betrayal. Okay now the thread you guys wanted to read. According to this link http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/announcements/217017-michael-owen-becomes-lfc-international-ambassador he states that "As a Liverpool fan I am honoured and delighted to have been asked to play this international role for the club. Liverpool FC is the world's greatest football family and it's great for me to be able to represent the club in an official capacity once again." and yet you betrayed us years ago. I know that's not enough resources and it might be bullshit but I was angry. To eeryone, what do you think, Liverpool fan should forgive him or not? My answer, NOOOOOO!

I think that's harsh. When Owen was being shopped by Madrid, Liverpool allowed Newcastle to take him, and then didn't try to get him (to my knowledge) when he was a free agent. I always find it odd how fans react to players like this, Fabregas is a good example, Wenger didn't want him, what was he supposed to do? Situation isn't that different from Owen's.

I know but still Liverpool fans feel betrayed because he was a product from us. I can see why arsenal would be mad because he was born from them. I know I was harsh @Sunflash. I think he would've been like no way to man u, but it's his decision.

@Mr.Gol That is so unfair for Owen to say. LFC should take him and not allow the devils to snap him, it is normal that he would go for something that would benefit him in his career and trophy case. Besides we are talking about an English league medal here not some Chinese[no offence].
