Pherhap, but it still an historical record, I mean, nobody ever got 4 ballon before (if I'm not wrong) and even less 5, that's legendary for messi. That make him one of football greatest figure of all time and his record will be that most harder to beat, I wonder who could do it. If one is to believe what Messi said at the ceremony, Neymar could be this person (I find it unlikely but why not). What do you think?

There's no way Neymar's winning 5 Ballon d'Ors, lol. He's nowhere near the level of Ronaldo or Messi. He's extremely talented, and is probably going to be a Romario-esque player, but not CR7 or Messi. Those two are Top 10 players in history, extremely difficult to get on their level.

Neymar could go on to win more than one. I mean when Messi and Ronaldo either retire or decline then who would be the top three players? Gotze had potential and he threw it away joining bayern. Hazard is having a bad season and needs to step it up next season. Bale needs to be the focal point at Real. Maybe a creative mid fielder can win it. Someone like Ozil.

Future candidates on my opinion are Neymar Bale James/Ozil/Douglas Costa
