Beyond being one of the greatest footballers of all time - or perhaps even the best - Messi is a loving husband and father who also dedicates a lot of his time to charitable work.
Messi has certainly achieved his goal of being a "good person" and now a heartwarming video is going viral of what the 31-year-old once did for Real Betis' Andres Guardado and his son.
In the footage below, Guardado carries his son, Maximo, down the tunnel towards the away dressing room, where Messi emerges from to meet him.
"Messi!" shouts Guardado Jr, who gets a high-five from his idol and then poses for a picture before having a short conversation.
Maximo then says thank you and gets handed back to his father, who also gives Messi a hug to show his appreciation.
Has your heart melted yet? Real Betis’ Guardado took his son to meet Messi. 😍 pic.twitter.com/QJ7lNGtAFX
MESSI'S THE MAN

How lovely is that? The video was taken after a game between Barcelona and Real Betis, but Messi still made time to meet Guardado's son.
Stay classy, Leo.
