Bayern destroyed Barça, and my respect for them is untouchable, we destroyed them before though...
Inter played their heart against Barça, and deserved the win.

Anyway, i dont know what PL material means 70% of PL players are foreigners and skinny players like Di Maria seems to be doing well there so even Pedro would shine.

Messi is probably untrasferable until 33yo, and after that he will go playing for Rosario in Argentina as his wish was to retire there, despite everyone wanting him to retire at Barça playing like Pirlo in midlefield.

@Alex by posting those videos i believe you didnt watch mine, fine.

For Barça, one socios, a dentist was able to put the president ( elected each 4 years ) Rossell in front of his acts, and out him in big trouble.
A right that few teams have, who doesnt have owners and who belongs to their socios. In clubs with an owner, everything is internal and no fan has the right to ask for something internal, so no president could be controlled, no need to tell you what are we going to discover.
Anyway, funny how a money team fans insults Barça that way, no need to tell you how Roman made his fortune, and what was his role at the KGB when URSS where still there.
You have an ex mafia owner and you criticize a team who elects democratically a president and could bring him into justice anytime ? Is it fair ?

Bringing Chelsea and Barcelona in the same post is never a good idea...

I don't see any difference between our owner and yours or any other rich club. They all don't have a clean money by working a normal job or have they invented something or been saving their whole fortune since childhood. It's all about money to all of them. Except though our Terrific Owner doesn't think it's all about money but he has a passion for football that he attends almost each game for his club. We can't say that about many of those rich clubs owners. We are happy and glad to have such a generous owner and we don't mind how he got it all. All that matters is our club and football. We as a fans and Roman have the same passion and it's simply football.

Barcelona have spent almost a billion of euros if you think that your beloved club is poor and talented and won all those trophies from nothing.

The money was earned by the club, not given by someone flying over Camp Nou, Atleticos rise is way more enjoyable, lets end it here.

We don't need some one who dodges taxes . We have reputation to hold up to. A club image and respect , something of what Barcelona is not familiar with who is rotted to the top with corruption, bribery to win titles , dirty politics and child trafficking . We have traditions and standards to look up to . And yeah we have Roman who boosted our way to the top faster than it was projected , but at least we were not ROBBING BLIND other clubs with tv revenues to make it to the top. LOL Your club is biggest fraud in history of football . I will throw you fact after fact how your club was build on this crap especially over the past 20 years .

Back to Messi , we don't need a player who can't score against our aging defense for 500 k a week if needed someone like Messi we would have kept Torres for 3 times less at least he scores against Barcelona :))

Barcelona is a big spender just like Chelsea. Its nonsense to say the money one club spent was earned and the other one was just a gift from the owner, both are rich clubs who spend money just like any other club with money would do...

Also, Inter in 2010 parked the bus way harder than Chelsea did in 2011 and for some reason they haven't got nearly as much hate for it from Barcelona fans.

And Messi hasn't been able to score against Chelsea for circumstantial reasons, Messi is a player capable of anything so using that argument makes no sense. Anyone would love to have him for a reasonable price at their club.

This is a childish argument. Messi would be an upgrade for any team. I see Chelsea supporters saying they don't want Messi because he never scored against them.... bullsh*t. If Messi did join Chelsea, they would worship him like a God. Messi is one of the all-time greats, perhaps the all-time great, and in no shape or form would he ever be a downgrade even to a great club like Chelsea.

@Tuanis: Barcelona fans don't hate Inter as much as they only parked the bus away...they attacked at Inter. Chelsea on the other hand, parked in both the games. There is more than one way to win a match, and there is nothing wrong in parking the bus to win the game. Chelsea did what it had to do, especially considering the circumstances. I don't understand why everyone hates it.

You do realize we are being sarcastic here ... But seriously , he would not fit in our team and I don't think having Messi in the team is good . We have a solid team and he will destroy the harmony . And who knows if he will fit in and adapt to EPL. There many more reasons I could go on and on . I doubt he will be upgrade to Chelsea , maybe theoretically, yes , but not practically .

It really is a shame to see tuan_jjinn make such disrespectful statements. :(

This is what happens when you spend too much time listening to tiki_taka.

Of course any team in the world would love to have Messi. That's because Messi is the best player in the world, and possibly all time. What's there to argue about? But the simple fact is, he has been all but carrying Barcelona for at least 2 years now, and without him they are nowhere near as good.

Now, please someone explain to me why tiki_taka had to start this same, stupid, childish argument again, insulting Chelsea, insulting the PL and never learning from his mistakes?

tuan_jinn, please stop defending the troll. It makes this place less respectable.

@ashwin: parked bus on both games? Which games? In 2012?

Hell no. Chelsea were the attacking team at Stamford Bridge, and in the Camp Nou they were down to 10 men, with not a single recognized CB on the pitch due to injuries. Of COURSE they played defensively. Some people will never understand this, because they don't understand football.

Just like La Liga, then. :)

@Lodatz:

Chelsea's home game against Barcelona...check out the stats next time. They parked the bus. Got a good break in the game...

Here's the video evidence. You must have confused this with the game against Napoli..

@Dynastian: Saying we don't want Messi because he couldn't manage to score against us was obviously sarcastic like @Marcus said. The truth is, I don't want Messi at Chelsea because he'd probably have all the freedom he wants. Everybody would play for him, like they do in Barcelona, that would harm the development of our young players like Hazard and Oscar. They should be able to express theirselves on the pitch instead of playing the second fiddle to Messi. Sure, Messi is one of the two best players on the planet, but I'd rather see Hazard and Oscar developing into world class players side-by-side than having Messi in my squad.

@ashwin: You are quite correct, except I was remembering 2009, instead. My mistake.

And what an excellent, world-class bus it was, too.
