"I named my dog 'Messi' because Messi is the best in the world, and so is my dog," explained Isco when questioned about his labrador's unique name earlier this summer. Imagine him,as a Real M player next season,in park calling his dog .LOL

He said he was an Anti-Madrista and that his idols are Xavi and Iniesta before too, but when the money calls all that is blown out the window

@knibis

Unfortunately, that is the sad case with most footballers these days. Even the greatest, like Messi, Ronaldo, and Ibrahimovic, all care far too much about money than the game. :(

I'm happy Isco joined Madrid, but only on the condition that his talent isn't wasted. I want to see this kid PLAY, not occupy the bench. :/

When I saw the name of this post, I thought Mladen was calling Messi a dog, and my first thought was...

.... hater.

One must take into consideration how Isco's transfer to Madrid has benefited Malaga.

Iniesta was a "Madridista" when he was a boy, and I'm sure he had idols too. No biggie.

Agreed Dyanastian, as long as he doesn't warm the bench the whole time I will be happy. I just wanna see the kid play damn it!

Yeah it's no big deal. Everyone, even madrid players and fans know messi is the best in the world. And see what's happening to thiago in barça. I can understand why he would prefer Madrid.

Good point KingHenry. I REALLY wanted to see Isco play alongside Navas and Silva at City. I feel he could've flourished even more if he followed Pelligrini too. Oh well, only time will tell.

"My pet is named Messi, but anecdotal. I also had another pet named Figo. There isn't more to it," Isco told reporters.

"I won't change his name to Cristiano, because he won't listen to it."
