Messi back to national duty.

Against a dirty side in a positive way because not fouling Messi every duel is almost won, playing 10 vs 11 since the first half, not being yet 100% could see it on his actual Pace a little less explosive than usual. He was another time motm, crucial, bossed midlefield and scored.
The game started at 1:30 am in France so it was worth to not sleep. Dybala red card was really harsh knowing the first yellow was undeserved, the second one rival overacted after the foul. Did anyone watched the game ?

I am happy that he's back. The international level loses something without one of the top players in the world. That being said there must have been some serious asskissing from the national side to get him back, and I still highly disapprove of his comments following the Copa.

I did watch the whole game, also started 1:30 AM for me.

It was sensational display from Messi, the goal was no doubt out of no where. I meant, who has the gut to turn around like that with 6 defenders and mids around him and suddently space appear, and he grabbed it with both hand.

BUT!!!!! Man of the match for me was Mascherano, he was all over the place, bossed the back and mid, produced so many incredible long ball passes, high accuracy. He and Messi truely carried the team when they were down to 10.

He played amazing, but why is everyone saying he is back, he didn't miss any national game, right? That aside Messi was phenomenal as always.

@rayrex7 Well, he did say that he was retiring from the national team after the last copa but I guess it was a worthless comment after all since he didn't missed any important game after that. Anyway, great to see such a great player back in action what I think make Messi such a good player is how he is so consistent, he nearly alway have something to offer to his team one way or another. I just hope he will be able to cope with the pressure more easily this time around.

Why do they always put some gay disco music in the background ?

The day he announced retirement and following month , I bet some people sold Messi named national stuff for twice or three times more of the price it cost .

@Tiki_taka I guess it will be the same with Messi then, or maybe not, for all we know, since Football is becoming more and more popular, Messi might just end up being more well known than those other great player.
