Lol Mirror is a joke anyhow. I think this whole forum knows this. Ozil did flop that night though -_- and Santi is f*cking up too.
Shoot, it seems like Mirror is improving their journalistic quality. NOT!

The Mirror is absolute garbage. The Arsenal journalist there John Cross is also a lame plastic.
However Ozil flopped massively that night and just gave up. Players who give up dont deserve to wear the Arsenal jersey.

Is it not true? No it is going to say OZIL PUT UP THE BEST PERFOMANCE ON ARSENAL'S NIGHT OF MISERY, because that is what happened, no? Ozil didn't miss a penalty in the first leg either. Arsenal were title challengers for a good part of their season. Obviously, it is scary to go up against the best team in the world, is scary for any team. But Manchester United had a chance, at twice, they were in the lead, only for Bayern to comeback. I don't understand why you guys are reacting like this. If Man United got Bayern in the Round of 16 and someone had a shitty game, it would have probably been the same headline. This isn't the round of 16, this is the quarter final. If Arsenal went out in the quarter final after a good performance to a good team, people wouldn't be that disappointed.
@messi Not it's not. "Euro misery" give me a break we drew 1-1 at Allianz. How is that a night of euro misery ? We lost to the best team in the world with 10 men. Manutd did okay to not lose at home, but other than that I don't see how you were "brave". You just did what you had to do, parked the bus, got outplayed, and lost.
@messi Not it's not. We drew 1-1 at Allianz, and lost to them at the emirates with 10 men after playing very well for the first 30 minutes. When people say "you are going to get raped", "Bayern is gonna kill you!", you have to be Brave to come out and fight them. When arsenal playde, no one predicted 5-0 Bayern, or even 2-0 Bayern. Everyone predicted a tight game. Arsenal had a big chance to go through, and might have, had they not gotten the red. Manchester United, however, the odds were agianst them.
Tell me which game you enjoyed watching more:
United home
Arsenal home
United Away
Arsenal Away
Don't get me wrong, i enjoyed watching Arsenals home game agaisnt Bayern, they played very well with ten men, but seeing United almost beat Bayern, even though they parked the bus, was thrilling. Arsenal parked the bus too. Podolski scored a great goal against Bayern, but I almost fell asleep watching that game.
@Messi Nonsense. There is a media hatred towards Arsenal and the above image with Ozil is just one of the numerous and scandalous headlines that involves one of our players. Ozil was injured on the night and I don't think he was able to affect the game like he wanted to and eventually went off at half time but still gets called a flop ''again'' for having an injury. In the first leg he may have missed a penalty but he was causing all sorts of problems for Bayern in the first 20-25 minutes of the game and not to mention he also won the penalty with a neat bit of skill. Then we get reduced to 10 men and Ozil gets played out of position and therefore was unable to impact the game like he previously had so you can blame that old fool Wenger for not substituting Ozil who then maybe could of had a more impactful performance in the second leg.
''Obviously, it is scary to go up against the best team in the world, is scary for any team. But Manchester United had a chance, at twice, they were in the lead, only for Bayern to comeback.''
We had our chances. We could of been 3 up in the early stages of the first leg but unfortunately for us Neuer was a monster that night. Where's our headline that says we were brave and that we gave it a go?
Why would the media want to target an injured Ozil and unsettle him? Why couldn't they run a headline about our young Englishman, Oxlade-Chamberlain, and his brilliant, gutsy performance against Bayern that was unfortunately in vain?
What difference does it make it was in the R16 or QF?

As an arsenal fan, this makes my blood boil. I try not to pay attention, but the media just loves talking shit about us.
