I doubt a lot of you know a lot about Serie A. Palermo's owner, Maurizio Zamparini has sold majority of his shares, meaning he no longer operates to the club. In his 15 year region, he has changed managers OVER 40 TIMES. Yes, over 40. It sounds ridiculous, but in reality, in that 15 year period, it has actually been the club's most successful period. Palermo went to Serie A in 2004 after a few years, and they also began producing a lot of great youthful players like:
Sirigu
Barzagli
Pastore
Cavani
Dybala
Belotti
Toni
Along with others...
This is Zamparini
He sacked quite a few big names, like the legend Gattuso. He only lasted 3 months. Francisco Guidolin had 4 spells at the club. Gian Piero Gasperini, Giuseppe Sannino and Delio Rossi all had two seperate spells at the club.
He steps down, leaving Palermo at 18th, 7 points behind 17th. Will Palermo go back down?
