Nope, he was definitely going to play if he was fit, seeing how important he is to their side. Dortmund's only chance are their pacy counter attacks which suffer a serious blow without Gotze.

I agree with Lodatz. I do not believe he would play against Bayern Munich from starting XI for sure. Football is now a lot played outside of the stadium... Hard for Borussia but I hope they will do it!
