@Emrecan_58 Yes, also very nice to see him play the whole ninety minutes :)
Yes, so happy to see back safely and in great form. Hope to see in even greater form next season. ;)
On the last day of the Bundesliga season, Marc Bartra made a comeback and played the entire ninety minutes after an injury sustained from a bomb attack on Dortmund’s bus during their Champions League journey on April in Monaco.
The Spanish center back was the only player to suffer a serious physical injury from the bomb attack, where he required a surgery for a fractured wrist.
With the help of Bartra, Dortmund secured third place in the Bundesliga after winning 4-3 in a thrilling match against Werden Bremen. Bartra was very happy to come back in action:
The 26-year-old was given a special applause by the fans and team-mates as they celebrate the closing of their season. Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel was happy and said: “That was something very special…A very special image.”
Here’s Bartra’s interview after the match (CC for subtitles):
Later on, Dortmund and Bartra could close the season with a trophy when they take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the DFB-Pokal final.
