Manchester United’s list of potential opponents in the CL qualifiers

Manchester United will return to the Champions League in 2015-16, however before the Red Devils get busy in the group stage of the competition, they first have to win a two-legged qualifier.

In that context, Man United’s possible opponents in the Champions League qualifiers are now known, and there appear to be some potentially tricky ties out there.

On the rougher side of the scale, Louis van Gaal’s side could face the likes of CSKA Moscow, Lazio, Monaco or Sporting Lisbon in August.

United will discover their fate on August 7 when the draw for the playoff round is made.

@tiki_taka Nope. They both will be seeded first at the Play-offs.
ManU will only play at the Play-offs while waiting for their opponents from the 3rd Qualifier games.

I don't think any draw we get will be easy. All the clubs in this qualifier know what's at stake, I wouldn't want to get someone awful and overlook them, or someone half decent like Lazio or Monaco.
