I hope Mata comes at most or Fellaini hope Zaha doesnt leave on loan we need him but to be honest i dont think any of these transfers will happen maybe Fellaini but yet again i could be wrong. I think Moyes has done a wrong decision to leave all players that we need badly to buy for the last day. COMON MOYES !!!!

Don't see why Coentrao is apparently linked with us. Don't need him at all.

^ He's already at Manchester. On loan.

And as for Fellaini, his flee is over-inflated. I doubt he's worth THAT much. Probably more like 18-20 M pounds.

@man_utd, it is not about "need" as we already have depth in our squad at that position. It is about upgrading. And our left-back position needs upgrading. Coentrao is a step above the 32-year old Evra. If we do it would be a massive boost as Madrid already have Marcelo at left-back.

As we do have depth in the left-back position that is why I'm saying why I don't really understand the Coentrao (possible) loan-deal. We're really being too harsh on Evra.

@man_utd, the reality of football is that sometimes you have to be harsh for the betterment of the team. Would you rather have Coentrao playing as left-back or any of Evra, Fabio or Buttner? The club moves on. That is the United way.

tbh, I would rather have Evra than Coentrao.

I can't say much more about this as we have fundamental differences of opinion. The only thing I will say is that I would prefer Evra at his prime. But Evra is getting too old and his performances haven't been very consistent. Coentrao may not be as fast, but he provides defensive stability that will ensure we do not get exposed on that left side. And he is only 25 with vast amount of top football experience at R. Madrid.

We all have our own opinions. But I am of course not doubting Coentrao's skill.

@man_utd and if the rumors are true, he would only be on a 1 year loan, which means there is not much risk associated with the deal. We can see how the youngsters in our squad progress until next year, then come up with a more permanent option.

i think that it is a good thing that it is a 1 year loan and if he fits in United hopefully we can't keep him because Evra is getting old, also i like Coentrao

Instead decides to wait in the last 10 minutes of the transfer window to sign him for 27.5m pounds.

By the way, it seems the Coentrao loan deal has failed.
