David Moyes #effect

Manchester United owner Malcolm Glazer has died at the age of 85.

The Glazer family purchased United for £790m in May 2005 amid protests from the Premier League club's fans.

However, the Red Devils went on to win five Premier Leagues (2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013), as well as the 2008 Champions League title.

One less capitalist is a slightly better world. Feel sorry for his family though but the world definitely benefits from his death.

One less great business man, I hope his family can take over all of his projects like he would have. Big loss for the world of football. Fans nowadays expect their club presidents to spend money like crazy, this guy spent a lot while keeping it profitable.

I dont like arguing with trolls but how on earth is his death benefiting the world exactly?

Well for the beginning he is the who put this huge debt on United when he purchased the club ( indeed smart to leave his debt on the club ) . So far club has been paying only interest ( from what I know ) . Pretty much every United fan, that I know personally , wished him to peacefully rest in hell . Don't know who is benefiting but I think not the world nor the United .

Please stop with the capitalist stuff. The loss of a human being is always sad, no matter who you are: business, farmer... RIP.

History books Marcus ? I have a History book who tell me that Oussama was a Cia agent, USA helped afghanistan against Russia during cold war and Bosch/Ben laden fathers used to do buisness.
You really disapointing me, i told you to forget the propagand you learned at school and to try to find the truth yourself, we all have internet we have no excuses...

The official vrsion is an insult for my studies, i study material resistance and acoustics, my teacher each time hear 09/11 he has a big smile...
He wrote a book that nobody had the balls to edit, nobody wanted in other terms...

^ Im not telling you its the real truth, but excuse me the official version is a joke, i can certify you, my teacher as well that they were bombs in the low level of WTC, the only reason that could justify the way off the building fall.

I feel sorry for the victims, but the real murderers are billionaires in Army/Weapons/Oil Lobbies, when you ask who benefited the most ? The answer is quite simple.
But yes funny to think some Afghan farmers took the JFK , the most secure airport in the world and made miracles in piloting huge planes ( for the first time ) to accomplish an unbelievable mission. ( people nowadays trust everything )

(For 2nd world war, well my version is shocking, so i wont start with it but if someone is interested, i have some good sources) Yes i am passionate of truth and objectivity and i may look fool because i dont trust official system version...

Back to subject, i was going to make a joke about Moyes being arrested of Glazer murder due to his season, but yes not really appropriate to make a joke, may he rest in peace.

Before someone jump on me, please do a small researche in the net, or do even better and be back to topic in case i dont want to ruin the thread.

@tiki

Mate , I believe you and agree with you 100% , but this is way off topic of the "off topic " thread :D . I was simply responding to expert football , that it is sad when any human being dies . I think some scum deserve to die . ( not talking about Glazer )

To many people , you will sound like a "lunatic", because around the world majority of people goes by what is official and "proven" . You pulling out youtube videos or reading books of an author who share the same views and later trying to educate people about it won't do any difference . Mass media is the "truth " . And if people did not see it on TV and major newspaper , they will still think you are "lunatic " . Therefore , I never argue about such topics , do not want to sound like a lunatic .

I agree alittle bit with expert. Because hundreds of people are dying everyday and also innocent poor children are dying and nobody even gives a f... But when someone famous dies then we all suddenly comment : RIPRIPRIPRIP. thats just bs in my opinion.

@Marcus Osama bin Laden wasn't like that as a kid, something triggered for him to become like that, and also he was protecting the country from the U.S.A. , I'm pretty sure u know about United States and oil/gas.
Osama bin Laden is second from right pictured in 1971 in Sweden

and as for hittler, i don't know about him, he was a good leader except his bad side of killing all the people he didn't like.

I second Lodatz! @Marcus2011, where have you heard that United have been paying only interest? Our debt is down to about 350 million pounds last time I heard so we've been paying quite a lot in principal as well. And the Glazers have refinanced a part of the loan with some American banks to decrease interest payments. With the new sponsorship of Chevrolet and new kit manufacturers (either Nike/Adidas) which could give us over a billion pounds in revenue in the upcoming years, I think we're in good shape. Say what you want about them, and there is plenty of criticism from me as well, but comparing a shrewd businessman to some of the most atrocious and hated individuals in human history is asinine. He had a 2 strokes that left him with speech difficulties and paralysis in 2006 and his sons are the members on the board at United, not him. It is actually pretty ironic how endeared he is by Tampa Bay fans.

@tiki_taka, same. I think the Glazers have done well at making United a global brand.
