Manchester City Vs Chelsea : Preview.

When we see both teams future oponents, we understand that Chelsea dont have any choice rather than a win to catch up Citizens.
This game will be a chance for Manchester City to do the break and take 6pts more than Chelsea, or at least draw and keep leading EPL.
A 6pts game, one of the most important of the season. Arsenal fans will be praying for a draw, hoping to take the lead.
Will City benefit from this chance to take points from a direct rival ? Or will Chelsea be the first team to not loose in Etihad ?
What is you predictions guys ?

My prediction :
Manhester City 5 - 3 Chelsea.

Mourinho sure knows how to play big games 1-2 for Chelsea is my prediction. If city win this game and goes 6 ahead Chelsea they will end up winning the tittle.

lol tiki_taka that was very bold prediction . We are not Spurs . We know how to play games like this and not concede so many . I am not even worried about it . QUestion that bothers me is whether it will be draw or win for Chelsea , but if so how many goals, because I need to figure how much to bet. City has impressive attack but I believe we will shut them down . However, anything can happen in football, so If they do win then it is City's title to lose . Monday is a title deciding match . Arsenal should pray not for a draw but for Chelsea to win , because one top team City has not prevailed yet will be a morale boost to finish season even stronger .

What, you mean: not have your LB sent off for a perfectly legitimate tackle?

As we saw since the beginning of the season Arsenal, Chelsea Man City, Man Utd, Spurs, Liverpool & Everton they can all still drop points against anyone.. So it's really difficult to predict who will win the title. But surely Man City, Chelsea & Arsenal are favorites. It will only be decided in the last EPL match and not before that. even with a 5 points lead it won't be enough to say that this team will win it for sure or not. Anyways, good luck to everyone. I'm pleased with our evolution and next season will be totally different. Last night it was really annoying with 71% possession, 38 attempts, 13 corners it could have been at least 4-0.. Adri was without a doubt man of the match for making an incredible saves, West ham showed a real world class defending. a well deserved 1 point for them.

that will not be 6-0 or 6-3 for me it will be a 0-0 or 2-2 draw or maybe 2-1 or 1-2 but not more than 4 goals

@lodatz

No offense mate . However , even with 10 men Chelsea would not have been rioted to 5-1 . Sherwood should have "shut the shop" after controversial Rose send off . ( It was perfectly clean tackle and referee at first got it right but linesman yet again made another dumb call ) Why have referees if linesman word has more weight ? Linesman are even worse than referees in UK . They will either stand like stupid watching a foul or offside or waive their flag when the game is perfectly fine.

I was rooting for Spurs for obvious reasons and I think those two crucial decisions changed the game. People keep saying "" ooh city was killing them anyway " . Seriously did you start watching football yesterday ? Sherwood praised City to show himself as not at fault . I think Sherwood made some crucial mistakes but that is another topic.

Do you remember the most memorable example , that Champions league final when Liverpool was loosing 3:0 after first half and in second half thyey leveled to take it to penalties and won title ?? It was epic , right !?!? Now if same referee from Spurs made wrong decision relying on his lineman AC Milan would have been champs. Simple logic referees did good job in that match and it was beautiful fair match won by the best team.

Anyways , I do not know why I have to chew it up in details to explain some of fans here on how referee decisions matter . However, i have a feeling many here probably never played football for 90 minutes in their lives . Constant wrong decisions from referees certainly kills morale and discipline of the team , especially if it is crucial decision liked ruled off goal and red card , but some teams can handle and Spurs could not . They lost concentration and conceded 4 more goals . Again , I think Sherwood did not do enough to save Spurs from humiliation. City was outclassing Spurs completely after they were dropped to 10 men and Sherwood failed to Change tactics accordingly . Sam did it against us,yesterday and props to him , he got his point .

Hope Chelsea will show to Barça if there any weakness of City in Etihad Stadium, they are unstoppable actually.

If a defensively-rigid Chelsea under Jose Mourinho can't grind out a result from this City team, there's no way in hell Barca are going to beat them.

^Im not that sure, we have the advantage of hosting the 2nd leg. If we score at Etihad, we can qualify.

I have a feeling it will be a draw or city win. Chelsea might surprise me and win but I have a feeling a draw is more likely (Man utd 0 - 0 Chelsea. Arsenal 0 - 0 Chelsea... etc)

Not to offend any chelsea fans but I wouldn't be surprised to see chelsea perform the same tactics like west ham at the Etihad. It would be ironic indeed lol

well As it's not a home & away game to win on aggregate , jose knows exactly what to do with this game as he is one of the best for the single game .

to keep the title race Chelsea must win
