Chelsea's attack has been and is being too static. they attack with little numbers, like 2 players in the box 2 out, and they sit all distant waiting to get the ball, not going towards and assisting each other, or creating any movement. disappointing, with all that fire power and good feet.

Ivanovic beaten far too easily by Kompany. Chelsea defenders were also static as Toure and Aguero passed it around just on the 18-yard line for Aguero's goal.

Yepp, City outplayed Chelsea today. They played like champs! Still early in the season but will be hard to beat them this year!

My comment about the match is simple, Kolarov is a beast! He was really giving a hard time for Chelsea, alongside Fernandinho, Aguero was running through Chelsea's defence easily.

Chelsea were utterly outrageous, their attack was plain. They did nothing, the only two who were good is Matic and the Fab.

Cesc performed well throughout the game. I thought Willian did fairly well too, considering the limited time he got on the ball.

Funny you said that because they just announced the signing of Abdul Baba Raman from Augsburg. He'll compete with Azpi as left back or perhaps Azpi will play as RB again instead of Brani! Don't know what else might be missing.. Our team seems pretty complete to me. we'll see how Falcao works out as a back up striker but else.. I don't know..

My prediction was tiny bit off. Result was off, but knew that City would attack, didn't know that Chelsea would attack too. City looked really great, fantastic performances from everyone. City got probably most complete/athletic CB duo, finally they're playing as they should, last season Kompany&Mangala were awful.

Just checked 2 days ago, that before Abdul Baba Raman signing, Chelsea had FIVE defenders, lol. FIVE. And that includes Zouma who is probably the best CDM after Matic.

I don't think Zouma is capable of playing CDM. His man-marking skills can make him very effective in that position only if he's used in games to man-mark a specific player out of the game. In regular games, I doubt he would be an effective CDM.
