Man City set to sign Lionel Messi?

Barcelona star urged to join English giants Manchester City by Sergio Aguero and former team mate Yaya toure.

The city stars want to see the four - time Ballon d'Or winner (maybe five times) SCORING FOR FUN AT THE ETIHAD ALONGSIDE THEM.

However, Messi's father and agent Jorge moved to dismiss reports linking his son with a move away from Barcelona.

Hope it's just another rumour, and that we never see Messi in the blue side of Mancheser. Would love to see him in the blue side of London though :D

Lol, they aren't set for anything. They were asked if they would like to see Messi at City, which of course everyone will say yes to.

I think you got your facts messed up. It's not Man City eager to sign Messi, but Sunderland. Sunderland have devised a devilish plot to steal 125 Million Dollars from Victoria Beckham's purse, and another 125 Million from Real Madrid, just to tease Perez. They intend on submitting the 250.000.001 Euro bid (they got the $1 from Sepp Blatter himself) this summer, and hope to lure in Messi to a 330.001 Pound-a-week wage (1 Pound more than Cristiano Ronaldo), all on a 10 year deal.

^ An example of the anarchy needed to lure Messi out of the Camp Nou.

Sorry, that post was too tempting. Hopefully no one got offended. Just wanted to point out that the lad's not going anywhere until he's well into his 30's, and even then luring him out of Barcelona is nigh on impossible.

I agree with you Dynastian98, it is almost impossible to sign Messi.

Still, Sunderland would not survive relegation even if they sign Messi. just sayin.

^ They would qualify to CL for sure. Trust me.

even if they sign Ronaldo, relegation is inevitable for them...
And City even with Messi wouldn't get pass quater-finals in the UCL

Exactly. Messi is just Messi. He is no Januzaj.

^ Lol Fred, Messi is not Chamakh too, he would score less than 3 goals a year with Sunderland while Suarez is scoring 19 goals in 12 games.

I can't really see Messi plays in the EPL. Would ruin his career.

I was afraid the same things gonna happen to Messi like Andriy Shevchenko. I really feel sorry for that guy. He's a legend at AC Milan. And when he went to Chelsea, he only scored 4 goals in a season.
